Yeah that's what I was thinking, but they could at least use the first Taalo device to defend themselves to bide time to construct other Taalo devices, but since the Khor-Ah had thought they killed them off, wouldn't the Khor-Ah have noticed some dimensional fatigue portal? And if they didn't, does that mean the Dynarri's mind control caused memory loss, or that their subjects can't remember everything while being controlled?
I dunno. It took us a long time to really consider Hitler as being dead...
But the Fred and Paul didn't say he lived.

What if all of th other races that the Taalo knew had already been destroyed? The Taalo would have no one to give the device to. So, upon completion, which was very near their disappearance by the way, the Taalo just decided to/found a way to/were forced to leave this space.

What about freeing the Ur-Quan? Maybe they disappeared cause the Orz were foolishly messing around with dimensional fatigue, but why would the Ur-Quan not remember seeing a giant portal teleport them upon attacking them?

Now you have a story! This is the question the player could have to find out...

We still need to determine the nature if the Orz. Sinister or playful? Would it be a good twist to give them an evil plot? Or would it be better that they merely liked messing around like the Umgah? The problem with making them evil is they are playful and supported and still support the Alliance very well, they can even defeat at least 3 Chmmr ships if you're willing to be patient enough. However if you make them good guys it becomes a lot harder to make them interesting. So the question is, how can we make them good guys but give than an interesting and secret motive(s) at the same time?

there is no true evil in SC2 (well except perhaps the druuge), why should there be true evil in P6014?

From what I got from the Orz, they seem to have an alterior motive. What do they want with us? What did they want with the Androsynth? Why do they get so upset when you talk about the Androsynth? Why have the Arilou tried so hard to hide our *smell*?

No one said there was a "true" good or evil, even Paul and Fred said "it's all a matter of perspective".

Perhaps the Orz merely do not want anyone to steal their technology or want anyone to know they had the ability to go to other dimensions.

Then there's also the fact that the Orz that we see, are merely just representations of the Orz from the other dimension.

Yes...YES! That is a brilliant idea to work with! Perhaps in Orz space we can see their true from. We still need some kind of motive though.
