The Ur-Quan Masters MegaMod 0.8.0.85 is now live!

Another New release!
Oh God...Please don't let me die today! Tomorrow would be so much better!

I bring you perhaps the largest release yet. So many fixes, added features, and changes.
Too many to list here on this very release description so I'll boil it down to my favorites.
  • [li]SDL2 Support ported over from UQM v0.8.0 by Ala-lala[/li]
    [li]Better controller support for Windows and macOS (and possibly Linux)[/li]
    [li]Replaced all fonts in HD and recreated the Chmmr and "StarCon" font by hand[/li]
    [li]Tightened up the HD graphics even further to match Classic[/li]
    [li]Tons of changes behind the scenes to make the best version of the MegaMod yet[/li]
But seriously there is way too many changes to put in this feeble description.

Windows XP and Windows Vista support is dropped.
The macOS version *should* work on 10.6 (Snow Leopard) through 10.15 (Catalina).
I have no way of testing beyond 10.13 (High Sierra).
And as before I do not officially support the Android version, it exists as a novelty.

Remember that all optional addon packages can be downloaded at http://megamod.serosis.net/Releases

Old MegaMod saves will not work in this update.

I had a fun time implementing this and hearing it in action with his ambient remixes is something else.

Here's a couple of other new things:

HD 3DO Icon Menu               EDIT: And for good measure the original 3DO icon menu

HD Melee Menu (Marauder recolored and rescaled, Dreadnought rescaled, new Umgah variant by Nackles42, and a new Cruiser variant ripped from the SC1 ship info art)

Added "Music Options" to the setup menu (Thanks to Volasaurus)

The reason for the new menu: Volasaurus composed remixes for everything, including alternate tracks for Pre/Post-Process Chmmr, Fwiffo, Safe Ones, Spathi ships, Pre/Post-Ultron Utwig, Ur-Quan Probe, Yehat Rebels, and Pre/Post radioactives Commander.

It's a bug I forgot about since MegaMod 0.7.3 or so.
It's been removed for 0.8.0.82.
