As Draxas said, it definately won't be out by the end of the year. It takes a lot of work to make a mod, even if a lot of people are helping.

This was 25,000 years ago. Evolution takes much longer than this. It takes millions of years to see big changes. It seems likely they looked similar. They are described as having "one eye", so they haven't changed that much.

For complex life as we know it on Earth, sure. For other biologies, possibly with accelerant or other bio-engineering technologies, who knows? Changing radically seems a pretty good way to hide and they do mention possession of a ``unique physiology", which could hint at changes they have made to themselves. One-eyeness might only be superficial, they could be very different in more significant ways.

I guess the Mycon made sure that we'll never know? I guess that humans could have been evolving on earth, and the Arilou took some of them to Syra and genetically manipulated them, occasionally reintroducing some of them to Earth in, um, influence the genetic pool here. So they were the test subjects used to evolve humans.

But maybe the Arilou love the Syreen just as much but we just haven't heard anything about it yet.

Maybe the Arilou are our future selves, evolved into weird short big headed people.

So here's the theroy, most of the species from Project: 6014 had died out, and new, unknown species were Introduced in Species: 72. Hence the 2 new "Teams" in Species: 72, The United Federation Of Worlds and The Grand High Intergalactic Council. The Valkira were "Proto-Syreen ", but The Zaynferri weren't Arilou Experiments, they look like Humans, but with great genetic diffrences and body diffrences.
