I think its only a pic man, but then again I have been wrong in the past.
And that's all I got to say about that.

I'm pretty sure your right.  It's just a random image.  However, there's an entertaining image to go with it:
How is it that I can beat the Sa-Matra with one Fury, but I can't beat a Marauder with an Avatar?

I'd have said His Dark Materials, but there's more than one bear and some actually effective-looking combatants riding the bears, rather than a rather annoying little girl with a magic barometer and a knife-wielding hooligan boyfriend.

It was a movie tie-in, I expect it did.

I'm pretty sure it's a Warhammer 40K thing. Link to post with picture of actual miniatures. I suppose they might be in some W40K computer game as well.

Nope.  Those miniatures are custom-jobs.  It's not a 40K picture; it doesn't have any of the distinctive weapons or iconography.

Really? i always thought Bear Cavalry was a Warhammer thing. It sounds so darn Warhammer. But I guess I'll trust the experts.

Oh, it does sound very Warhammer, and I'm pretty sure that there's some Polish (well, "Kislevite," anyway) king in Warhammer that rides a bear, but those guys aren't him.

No, but it was completely off-topic, so I split the thread.

Hey, who da thunk it! (actually, aren't you allowed to do that in the random discussion thread of the off topic board?)
I checked Luki's link and those guys look more modern when compared to Alens mideval bear cavelry.

It does sound quite Warhammer-ish, I hadn't thought of that before.

Off topic from the megadump thread?  I didn't realize that was possible.
