This topic exists mainly as a tribute to the first message board that I ever joined.

It taught me many things. For instance, that eating massive amounts of pop-ice is not a good move. Thanks for your sacrifice Sedodes, we all learned from your ordeal.

One thing is certain: I have lurked more than I have ever posted: sometimes, you seem to have questioned whether I visited this board at all. I have. I have always hovered just around the corner, hidden in that shadow.

Watching. Observing. Sometimes participating in conversation when I saw it fit to happen.

I fully intend to continue this trend.

So, in the end, I find it appropriate for me to create one final topic on this old, tired board before I move on to lurk on its newer incarnation.

This also serves as a tribute to those who have passed on to parts unknown: moronic maria, ereklich, fluffy banana, and some others whose names I fail to remember right now.

The end of an era is at hand, and with the dawn comes a brave new world.

It will be soon. Just giving people a few days to process the change and move their conversations. Everyone has done well so far. Until this place is locked down  completely, one of us checks it about every second day, so its hardly unmoderated. Registration has been shut down, so we don't have to worry about spambots.

So Rider has a point. This forum should be converted into the legendary lost archives or something. That only a select contingent can navigate...

Perhaps these forums should be locked so people can't go run rampant on an un-moderated forum?

  How many of those are "art" and how many are "animation" I don't know.  I assume that PR3 was an animator.

You can still post here for a very short time, to allow people who don't pop up as often to get their bearings. This place will be locked down very soon though.
