Perhaps these forums should be locked so people can't go run rampant on an un-moderated forum?

Well there was the YABB version of these very forums, but I don't think you'll be able to find those anywhere... someone feel free to prove me wrong though.

There's not a lot that our country doesn't get... but I'm pretty sure we're one of the only ones who do get bicycles, as in... the real transport alternative, not the holiday trip type.

I have yet to see another country that has that... except maybe downtown New York, but that always looks really friggin' dangerous, like bikes don't belong there in the first place.

historical revisionism

Hehe, yeah I remember watching that film with the folks and at a certain point we just collectively went "Oh... not based on actual history then". It was pretty well near the end, I'm sure you can figure out which scene I'm talking about :)

The English and Australians do not get the concept of "Left" and "Right". Ironically, they're the countries where the word came from (or rather, where they have their most self-explanatory meaning). Somehow they still believe that Left is Right and Right is wrong.

Oh well.

An Umgah doctor. I can't think of anything that'd scare me more...

Oh man, I completely screwed up my sleeping schedule with a single action. I was falling asleep at my PC at around 8PM so I decided to go to bed. It's now 1AM and I'm wide awake. This sucks.

Also, I'm not in the Starcraft 2 beta at this time. This pisses me off.

For a second I read that as "Age is starting to take this troll"

I forgot my friggin' phone at a friends place. Besides the fact that the little bugger is basically my one connection to everyone I know, both professionally and personally, it's also my scheduler... so for the next 24 hours I have no clue what's going to be happening this week. I sure hope there's nothing big planned soon. It's my own stupid fault for leaving it there too... and that pisses me off!

I downloaded all the episodes a little while back so I'd have them 'on reserve'. It also means I'm not stuck to whatever schedule the BBC have in mind. Generally I watch one during dinner time so I have something to stare at while eating. I'll be getting the new seasons on DVD once they're all released here as well.

Eew. Why not try VLC? It plays pretty much everything.

I take it you haven't seen this then?

Yeah it is. Season 1 is sort of a reintroduction with the writers/directors still getting a feel for their material. It's only going to get better over time.

Also, Lukipela & Eth, I did find the series to be quite powerful when watched in sequence as you can see a lot of character development that you're going to miss out on otherwise. Just saying :)
