No punk fans in here?  NOFX, Lagwagon, Bad Religion, No Use For a Name, the Ataris, really old-school Blink 182, Saves the Day, Less Than Jake, and the Get Up Kids are primarily what make my life worth living right now.  But I dig lots and lots of different kinds of music.

Booze is cheap as dirt if you know the right ways to get it.  You can get a handle of Savon rum at Albertsons' for about 6 bucks, and if you're the only one drinking, you can easily parlay that into hours of drunkenness at least four or five times.  You can buy a forty of malt liquor for about two bucks and that'll get you feeling good for a decently long while- throw that in with a few shots of your Savon and you're goddamned plastered.  If you're not concerned about buying fancy shit like Bacardi and Absolut then price isn't really a problem with alcohol.

I can't stand cigarettes but I love smoking cigars socially.  Don't do it that often any more, which is probably a good thing.

I don't have any moral objection to using weed on an infrequent basis, but at the same time I've known a lot of people who've completely fried their brains on the stuff.  Me, I'm terrified of it.  I prefer brutally destroying my lungs and my liver to slowly deteriorating my brain...

It's booze and tobacco that give me the strength to say no to hardcore drugs.

Well, I must say, Chris, you are definitely an overflowing sexpot of attractiveness.

Yo, Chad, what's up?  As far as I'm concerned, UQM updates are the most exciting thing we've had around here EVER.  I've gone absolutely bonkers with joy both times a new version game out...  Whatever though.  I'll try and cook up something for you guys sometime soon...

Scott, what IS the deal with XR?  Is it really going anywhere?  Whatever happened to old Renzo?

Thanks for the kind words, Lukipela. :)  You left out "Eveth Gi Est Stxih Noihgefid," probably my finest work and the only one I enjoy reading any more...

Oh man, it rocks to be recognized.  I rarely come around here any more, but I do love my Star Control forums.

I wrote those couple articles a few years ago- my one measly contribution to the SC community outside the forums.  I haven't thought about those darned things in a long time, but now that you've mentioned it I might consider writing another article or two...  Especially since I've been playing UQM obsessively for the past couple months, AND there's a new one coming out...  I'll definitely try and stick around the forums for a little while, at least.

Same story here as Viropher- except my brother wouldn't let me watch it all the way through, because he wanted me to be able to beat it on my own when I played it.  He'd always send me out of the room when he got to the important parts.  Good call too- the game was much more amazing when I finally beat it on my own later.

Chris, is that a real picture of you?
