There's also one (can't remember the name) where you can command it to construct drones and turrets, and gather resources. I love that one, but sadly I can't build up a big enough base because all the coms are WAY too aggressive.

My two favorite ships are that Tron one, and the Ga'Rath Tyrant. It's theme song is terribly cool.

I just watched Avatar again with my family this time, not just me.
And well, I noticed something funny.

After listening to the thousands of negative comments about that movie and how it was sappy and stuff after I came out of the theater, I was like "No, The movie was Great!" But watching it a second time after listening to the comments did something odd; I didn't enjoy the movie nearly as much the second time.

So this brings up a point: Do critics change your point of view if you go see a movie?

Maybe they should just pull a "Final Fantasy" and pretend that #3 Never existed.

Yeah, I don't get to see many movies (I have kids, ok?), but I did see Avatar and enjoyed it.  That being said, your report is very amusing, as was this article:

http://www.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/Movies/01/11/avatar.movie.blues/index.html?iref=allsearch

I do think it's interesting how much self-loathing there is in movies these days when it comes to being human, and how world destruction is such a common theme.  Yet, somehow, the fact that art reflects these things still utterly fails to inspire change in people.  What up with that?  :P

Sorry, But I can't help notice that sap in the picture who's eating a pizza all by himself.

Also, I've already read that article in a Newgrounds Thread (http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1136926/2) and all I have to say that some people just take things too seriously.

What do you think of newer movies coming out? I personally enjoy the classics, but a couple movies I liked (9, Avatar)

But it seems most movies are going out like this:

I liked avatar, but it's almost funny to see the similarities.

What do you think about recent movies?

Synapsis- A creepy game (Not entirely scary- it's one of those games that get under your skin.. AND IT'S GOT A MAN WITH  A TV FOR A HEAD) Where you have to escape your own subconscious. Expect a stupid and silly ending.

Fat Slice- Fun game. Expect your monitor having a dent in it at the last few levels.

Robot Wants Kitty- A game.. where a robot wants a kitty. Very simple game, but if you try to get a score of under 10 minutes... ohhohoho.....

An Untitled Story: http://mattmakesgames.com/games/AnUntitledStory.zip

Eversion is short but candy coated sweet* and "An untitled story" is super long, but terribly fun, with loads of secrets and paths to take.

If you are here to criticize this game, Please go do it elsewhere.
Er, see the name of the forum above?  "Star Control discussion board?"  Yeah.  This would be the place to criticize a Star Control game, I should think.
Sorry, but when there's 3 threads about changing the appearance of an already great game, I start to get pissy.
