You're using 0.6.2 code right? What's your plan for when 0.7 comes out, stick with the older code?

I dont know - when is that likely to come out - 2011?

Uh, yeah. Good luck with the project.

Wonder what he's drinking. A war-slave flying a space fighter into a combat situation with alcohol? Couldn't be.

Whew!  Here we are at the double digits!  Oh, by the way, I draw all of the space scenes in Adobe Illustrator.  All credit for tracing images from the game where it's due, and all that.

I've always been curious about Adobe Illustrator. What's the advantage over making images in Photoshop or scanning your own drawings?

He'll be fine. Spathi are naturally good pilots.

As for me? I, of course, am on whichever side gets my karma negative.

I've been downvoting when others were upvoting you and later upvoting you when everyone else was downvoting. But now you are at zero karma exactly and I have put you in the negative. I think you owe me a favor Zeracles, but I don't know what I want yet.

This comic is turning out pretty well! The Androsynth you've used so far look bizarre. Are they all going to be wearing robes and funny headpieces?

This thread is beyond terrible. I mean look around. Whoever started this thing should lock the topic.

I stumbled onto the SC2 page of PoNaF and found this at the bottom:

The free version of Star Control II is known as The Ur-Quan Masters for copyright reasons, and is featured in our links section. It is relevant to SuperMelee because this game can be modified by anyone. Forum member Shiver has done so, releasing a balance mod for the melee which changes many ships around in oredr to make the melee even more enjoyable. If you enjoy melee combat, this is well worth checking out. Let shiver know what you think in hs project thread on UQMF or the SCDB.

Why am I mentioned on the page for Star Control II? That doesn't seem right. I am not a Toys For Bob employee nor a UQM core team member. This should be removed. Give me an expanded section on the mods page, but not this.

That, that is a legitimately good post. Not some fucking shit chatlog where you call Smarter Child on AIM a homo while claiming to be Dracula for 5 minutes.

There is no goddamn way this goofy bink has any more experience with gourmet food than your average Serengeti zebra.

I think somebody ran out of nouns here.

Music page is good stuff.

One nitpick: The mods page still says "Sins of a solar Empire is a very large mod for the game Seven Deadly Sins". Someone already pointed out what was wrong with this sentence once in another thread. Please fix it.

Oh, I warshipped Shiver. He said something clever.

I think you're supposed to downvote when that happens. Seems to be the standard operating procedure around here.

I was talking with Alex over at TFB, and they are willing to take a look at some of the stuff I and my team have done.  Keep your fingers crossed that they like what they see, and might let us make another SC based game (since we can't call it SC) with their blessing and supervision.

Wait, what?

Lukipela: Karma is a screwy way of gauging what people think. I downvoted your karma despite agreeing with the moderator action in question because you've got the highest karma score and I've been trying to keep high karma scores under control since the system first appeared. Using karma for anything serious comes off as a bit unprofessional.
