I'm there as a_stupid_box and tend to do a lot of 0wnage in the trench Wars zone.  It's a free MMOG.

If you like Turn Based Strategies, try Master of Orion 2 and 3.  Pinnacle of the TBS Genre.  You'll have to actually go out and buy the games, though.

I tried Tank Wars Online.  Great game concept, but it's still under heavy beta testing.  Not enough host/player control, and some of the people aren't the sunniest as there's no consequences for being a jerk.

Also, lag seems to be a massive issue.  I strongly suggest this when it's all gone gold, but until then, you'd best have a mountain of patience.

I think Simon the sorcerer was more of an Adventure... if you like those, get Sam & max hit the road. It's funny as hell, and pretty entertaining too.

Each team has a capital ship, all the other players try to defend their capital ship and destroy the opposing team's capital ship.  It's pretty cool.  There's also a scoring aspect to keep the capital ships from hiding.

For those unfamiliar with subspace, it's a MMOG where you fly around and shoot at other people.  In space.  Go to http://www.subspace.net for more info and downloads.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention -- It's FREE!

Yes, but seeing as we're talking bout good games, I thought it appropriate to mention, after all, noone said anything about a specific genre, just games. SamnMax is another alltime classic there, just like The Secret of Monkey Island.

Changing genre again, System Shock 2. That is one scary game.

okay ill try to explain it a bit..

The main goal is that the capital ships score a point by getting the *Smelly Ball* (powerball, but i like 2 call it a *smelly ball* ) in the opposite teams *Smelly Target* (goal)

To join the game, you need to select a ship,u select a ship by typing this, and then press enter:

:scbot:1 Chmmr avatar (sniper, single shot 2 kill)
:scbot:2 Mycon Podship (bomber type)
:scbot:3 Orz Nemesis (kill capitals with it)
:scbot:!capital (only works if someone isnt capital already)
:scbot:5 Yehat Terminator (fast)
:scbot:6 Utwig Jugger (sorta sniper, but fires in 5 directions )
:scbot:7 Ilwrath Avenger (Cloaker)
:scbot:8 Zoqfotpik Stinger (kill capitals with it)
