1) Yes, there is still the GYAP 2.0 plan. Will it become anything material? I doubt it. With all kinds of real life knocking at my door and some rather tough emotional/mental/economic/social situations on my plate I can't say that spending time developing something that I've very little inclination to even participate in anymore is on the top of my priorities list. Seeing as how I've the two weeks worth of code and the "template" I did for the SCMUD still on my HD as well I wouldn't completely rule out that, either. Just 98% ruled out.
The GYAP 2.0 system would ideally be able to run entirely automated, with only peer-and-pointmaster rewards and penalties affected by an "idle" board. I'd say "talk to Sage" about it since he was the one who was going to do all of the real work to get it going, but I don't think he'd appreciate me telling people to bother him about something he's likely abandoned.
I think GYAP is going to go the way of the "Grand Council" thing; a fond memory that's proved entertaining but has passed it's prime. If I've learned anything from pop culture it's that nothing is as annoying as a once-interesting thing sullying its own image by needless longevity. We used to call it "Beating a dead horse" here in the U.S., now replaced in common parlance with "Metallica-ing"
2) I'm too lazy to look at the first GYAP post to see how many points you have, Rider. Besides, I'd still mail the money as U.S. hard currency, assuming you had enough points to cover shipping plus one U.S. penny worth.
