Hello everyone.  It has been awhile!

New news and forums are up and running now after at least 2 months...

The forum url is now:

SMF is the board type.  SMF is the next spawn by the same people who did YaBB SE, which is the PHP/MySQL version of our old board type, YaBB.  Or something like that.  Does anyone really care to know more than that?

It took so long to fix the two most important features of this site because 1) it was the holidays, 2) I had (and still do) a ton of other stuff to do, 3) no easy way to convert messages from YaBB to SMF. 

The other day, I ended up surfing to SMF's website and I noticed a new YaBB to SMF converter!   So we hopefully have not lost any messages in the transfer.  Also, your old logins and passwords *should* still work.

I'll work on adding the old board "theme" and additional themes (the colors of the board and images) as I have time.  I thought it was more important to get this thing just back up and running.  There are a ton of new features and cool things with SMF.  There are also tons of more features that I haven't even turned on yet.  If things go well, maybe I'll turn them on.

But, anyways, lets see who is still around?...

It seems I'm the first returnee.  I hope the board's downtime didn't spell its doom.

I'll stick with it, Chad.  Mainly because I'm one of those stubborn types    Might want to spread the news at other SC forums that this one is back up.  I would, but my four hours of computer access per week don't really allow for such horseplay.

Yay! We're back in operational status. Too bad the RP is probably going to have gone cold, but we can always start a new one.
Hope to see others vigilant in their watch for the ressurection of this forum coming back any minute now...

One question, Chad; is there any way to change the color scheme for individual users? I prefer mine a bit...darker. And less blue.
