I have a few questions as to what I should do with the Unknown Forces side of my plotline.

First, does anybody know what the heck he was planning to do? I'm totally lost. :-\

Second, does it spoil the plotline if I gimmick my way out of the *time bubble* thingy?

*yawn* *wipes eyes* what'd I miss, guys?

Holy geez.  This is alive again?  Good thing I forgot to lock it for being inactive  :D

First off, fossaman, nice mines.  Especially since it can cause a "grey goo" subplot that I'll expect you to address.

Secondly, I was waiting for Lukipela to post before I continued with Nyquist and the Wayfarer

Finally, I don't know if Unknown Forces is idle or gone or what.  I'll condone you absorbing the role if you message me; it's VERY involved, and is actually part of the main plot of TGC.  If you take it over, you're obligated to finish it out and can't drop the role (during this episode) once you find out what it is.  Yes, it's THAT secret/vital.

LUKIPELA -- READ THIS

I'm still Sedodes.  I'm just going to begin mocking peoples' monikers for a week or so at a time when I feel like it.  Also, until Lukipela posts in here, make the subject lines of your replies something which would grab his attention.

Is there really any point in continuing this though? I had written it off long ago, seeing as many players have vanished ages ago. There's what, you, me, freaky and fossa left of a huge original cast of characters that are now masterless.

This thread will be closed unless I get PMs from an adequate amount of people to play at least ten roles.  I don't care if people want to play multiple characters, but no more than two per person.  Deadline is a week from now.

This board just doesn't seem to be active enough to support an RP sub board anymore.

I agree. One of the reasons I haven't been so active in this for the last 6 months or so is because a story crammed out by 3 authors is much more of a actual written tale, rather than a living breathing interaction between several different players.  Even if you find someone who animates 10 characters, if it's just one or two persons the story will be much less vibrant.

Sad, but true.. but closing down? Isnt that a bit too rash? I sure would have liked to play my part to the end..

The problem, I think, is that its nigh impossible to get "new blood" into this RP.  I briefly toyed with the idea of joining, but upon discovering that I would have to read 60+ pages of posts in order to figure out what the hell is going on, I gave up.  Actually, I tried reading, and then it became apparant after several pages that I was reading "part 2" or "part 3," and THEN I gave up.

Ditto - it really seems like a lot of work. I enjoy making the occasional snarky comment, but actual well thought-out storytelling and playing nicely with others is beyond my limited free-time (and short attention span).

Oops, I forgot to lock this thing.

Yes, I realized that this isn't really a "pick up and go" RP since there's soooo much backstory, and without the reprisal of roles by the original participants I see now that there's little interest.

I'm thinking of starting a new story, though, that takes place partially-parallel to SC3.  Might even start it tonight...
