Captain Rider's thoughts part II
« on: March 25, 2003, 07:44:11 pm »
Greetings creature/lifeform/entity

This is a recorder message by Captain Rider, from the starship Hope. If you find this probe, I am probably not alive anymore. I have spreaded probes like this across the universe to let everyone in on the puzzeling mind of the only one who kicked Kohr-Ahss longer then 2 years without getting gruesomly killed (can't be sure about the time after this)

When you have to fight, there's no use in running. A man once said: "A man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do" This couldn't be more true. Once in battle remind you that you do not have the supreme vessel.

The supreme vessel would have a deflector shield. ATL system (Auto Targetting Laser) a massive primary weapon, and a way to replenish crew. Since there is no such vessel you do NOT have the upper hand in everything.

Try to find out what your advantage is. Don't outrun a faster opponent, and move if you're fast but not very strong. And use your opponents weak spot. Some ships are very slow, use this! Fly circles around him, shoot occasionally without getting hit. This is the only way to beat all enemy's; use their weak spot against them.

Know your enemy. If you don't know your enemy, you don't know their weakness, and the previous tactic is void and without meaning.

so far the battle hints.
