SC3 battle scenes too fast!

I'm running sc3 on a p667, and the game itself runs fine, but the melee is stupidly fast (i'm getting caned by the vux, for pity's sake).

Any sugegstions?

I believe there is a button that toggles a "lightning" mode, one of the F buttons.  the fact that only the melee is fast makes me wonder if you accidentally hit it.  Try pushing the F buttons in melee (and be prepared for some odd things to happen, just turn them back off if you dislike them.)
