Well I'm planet side and under a lot of pressure.  Anyone else tough enough to send down a strike team, maybe give me a bit of a hand? Those braves wont last that long down i nthe tunnels on their own...

Sorry I haven't been here recently, the link didn't work until today.

A_S_B, the reason I wished Azolero's post edited is that I already had a  flaw in the Plan, and he sort of ruined my story for the Mmrnmhrm. So could you edit out that part of his post and wait until I reveal my flaw? I was trying to make a sort of flawed "end-all weapon".

Ask Azolero if he wants to change his post.  I don't like to remove thing unnessarily...

Who am I kidding, yes I do!  But this isn't removal, this is editing, and I don't like to actually edit other people's posts... I'm afraid I take too much liberty with correcting their grammatical mishaps and such, and as a result, can change "I like cheese" into a three paragraph discussion on "the Zen of Cheese and cheese-like thought".

EDIT:  Perhaps you should focus a bit on your Utwig for the time being, Fluffy, while you wait for this uber-weapon issue to be resolved.  Also, I removed the paragrahp of (OOC OOC information in this format OOC/) that you had included in your post.  If you want to explain how the device works out of character, do it in the OOC thread or in the council.  Also, keep in mind that not everything you do will be understood by other races.

EDIT: On another count, I'd like to add mroe to this thread, but I really feel as if I'm turning into a novel rather than group play, so I'll hold off for a bit.

And just for the sake of form I have to say I dislike these timelimits you keep coming up with fluffy. I mean, beating the living daylight out of eachother yes. Fleets, fights, grand destinies. But how are we going to interpret your 24 hour limit? "4 hours from that post, 24 hours play time, or what?

Specific times are bad, and WILL be edited out.  Feel free to write "hours later" or "days later" or junk like that.  Remember, the Precursors set all the home worlds the same distance from their suns, so all time between the races is uniform (except for a few weirdos like the Chenjesu)

Also, I don't think the Precursors designed an invincible race of robots with "metal that's impervious to acid" (acid specificly dissolving metals, while bases dissolve organic compounds) produced by creatures in another dimension.  I could be wrong, however... though I doubt it.  We saw how ineffective the M-bots were in general, and as the Precursors are not around anymore, they can't really improve that design.

Sorry to shoot holes in your race's uber-ness.

Lukipela -- I'd be posting more myself as well, but I don't want to run what  consider to be ErekLich's story.

On a side note, someone here besides me knows where they're hidden, but I'm not telling who...  :D

The Androsynthetic aren't refusing to fight, they've just got a strategy that's better than running-in-foolishly.  And it's not a war of attrition, either.

Also, things sure are looking grim for you, beastie-planet.  I can't help but wonder -- how are you going to play off a gigantic bomb tearing you up from the inside out?

And I'm wondering why nobody is paying attention to the half of Orz-beast-planet cleaved by the net?  If it continues to be neglected it may very well begin to heal... just a thought or two...
