<A small brown creature walks up the the Ur-quan ambassador and whispers something to him. The Ur-quan nods and dismisses the creature>

Fellow species! I have disturbing news! According to the messanger that just arrived the Orz have turned away from the Utwig and head for our currently covert research station wich was located right below your section of space. We do not know how they figured out we where there, but they seem to head for the main planet. This research station is very vital to the rebirth of the Ur-quan, and using the technoligy contained in it, they might use it on themselves!

I wish it was different, but I fear I have yet another bit of explaining to do. The Ur-quan have been working on re-uniting the Kohr-ah and the Kzer-za species, back into the original Ur-quan. With a few differences mind you. For example, we intended to reduce the territorial instinct that is very clear with the Kohr-ah now.

We hid this system near the Utwig system, because of strange radiant energies that apear to have a positive influence on our equipment, and have increased progress by 60% over the other locations.

If the Orz are indeed not a sentient species, then the technoligy stored here might change this. As it contains genes from both the Kohr-ah and Kzer-za species. We urge that assistance is sent there right away, as the base is not equipped with militairy equipment!

FOR THE SAKE OF CONTINUED RESEARCH, WE SHALL SEND A FLEET OF OUR FINEST AVATARS TO AID IN THE DEFENSE OF THIS "RESEARCH STATION". UR-QUAN DELEGATE, WE REQUEST THAT YOU BE MORE FORTHCOMING WITH THESE MATTERS. KEEPING SECRETS SUCH AS THIS CAN LEAD TO MISTRUST.

We will send a fleet of our newly manufactured Speeders as well as a contingent of our Juggers, to help protect the Ur-Quan research center. The Supox have told us they will send a fleet of Blades to help, as well.

We, The Yehat nation, wish to send ships to this "research facility", to protect it if nessecary. However, we will not initiate fire before anyone else.
Also, we want to be able to walk through this "research facility", just to make sure that it is not a battle platform, or a millitary-guilded facility.

We will stand ready to shoot at anything, including the facility, if we find any hostile meanings in it.

Oh and eh.. it would be a good time to tell us about secret facilities. Especially when this whole 'Orz are evil' talk proves to be true.

Yehat ambassador. Although we understand your fears, I would like to ask you this: Would we have revealed the existance of a secret research station if it had enough weapons to deflect attacks like that?

I would like to apoligize to all of the other races for the fact that we hid a research station from everyone else. But Lord 675 thought it could have been a good suprise to apear to the next meeting as our original form.

He will be kept from contacting the Umgah for at least a week.

As I said before everyone who feels it is nessecary to visit this station is welcome to do so. I will leave the exact coordinates of the system and planet on the 'holo-board' in the hallway.

Now before me move into any other serious discussions, I suggest we handle the problem at hand first. The Orz making threatening moves towards our systems for example. We would like to warn the Orzese ambassadors that a small platoon of Perfected Ur-Quan Dreadnoughts has been sent to our research station, and that if the Orz ships come closer then 20 parsecs from our research station, that they will open fire.

Please ambassador... errm.... fishy... what is your reply?

The Androsynthetic nation will be sending a squadron from our fleet in Utwig space to aid in the defence of the Ur-Quan research facility.  The mass of our fleet will remain in Utwig space in a non-aggressive stance to facilitate further diplomacy between our nations, as well as stay available should the Orz resume their march toward the Utwig Proctorate.

<one of the female Androsynth's eyes roll back for a few moments, after which she whispers into the Male's ear>

Delegates, the Axiom has some disturbing news to share with the Council.  Our Umgah allies have determined how the Orz (and their ships) reproduce.  It seems that the Orz *fingers* in our space undergo a process similar to cellular mitosis.  Their numbers therefore increase exponentially, geometrically, meaning that one becomes two, two become four, four become eight, and so forth.  This new data leads us to believe that the Orz were heading to Utwig space to use the radiation emitted by the Utwig shielding device to randomly mutate their species for adaptation in our *space*, as their form of "reproduction" is basicly cloning.

Ur-Quan delegate, perhaps if you merely shut down the research facility entirely the Orz may abandon their pursuit.  However, this might cause them to reassume their previous target of Utwig space.  We ask all races to please keep in mind that being within the immediate presence of the Orz is still dangerous to any species' *life force*.

Hmm, can't we lure the Orz into some kind of trap? If we put the Ultron, and some other energy-emitting stuff (like a slaveshield generator) at a planet, and strap a bomb on it, we can maybe lure the orz to that planet, and detonating it in a blast.. Ofcourse this would be a last-defence action, for if the Orz attack any race in this quadrant.

But Ambassador Yeep-eep, your bomb idea will not destroy ALL of the Orz *fingers*.[/Puts on the Mask of Intent Explanation/] The Orz would not send all its *fingers* into this trap; there would still be many *fingers*around the other races(because they feed on the "*lifeforce*" of nations). And from what the Androsynth say, if there was even one or two Orz *fingers* left there would soon be many more.

It is at this time that the Androsynthetic nation reminds the council that a decision has yet to be made regarding our request that the Vulpeclae systems be returned to our control, and that the Orz be put under our observation in the neighboring systems.

Further, it seems that certain members of this council are intent to wage total war against the Orz.  We believe this to be folly, as only the invasion force needs to be removed.  The Orz may be acting instinctually, but there is no reason to totally erradicate them as perhaps if left to evolve they may become sentient.

Our scientists calculate that we have two standard hours before the confrontation with the Orz.  The Androsynthetic nation wishes minimal losses to all races who've alloted ships to the force defending the Ur-Quan research station.

<The Shofixti Delegate, having been urgently talking into a small com-unit for a while, abruptly puts it down, and clears his throat. To begin with he looks toward the Androsynth ambassadors, and there is a cold fir in his eyes. When he begins to speak, his voice is frosty, cold enough to send a chill down the spines of most Council members>

Childish nature you say? Ranting. Perhaps one day you will learn the true manner of honour, and come to see how your arrogance and smugness soil your potential. Until then, we are content to watch you, and pray that you see the perils of your folly. The Shofixti Empire has little more to add to this matter.

<Turning to the rest of the table, in a slightly warmer voice>

Honoured, delegates, we most definetly live in troubled times. Fleets are amassing, secrets are being unveiled. The next few hours will decide if we are simply to replace one war with another. As war is the Way of the Warrior, we will be prepared to throw ourselves into the coming conflict. However, battle should never be entered lightly, and before such a grand event, honour requires that one attempts to solve problems in a more ... peaceful way. Therefore I implore the Orz ambassador to speak up, or be prepared to face the consequences.

As for more trivial, yet nontheless important matters.

The Ur-Quan have once again proved that they are not forthcoming. As a defeated foe that strives to gain the trust and respect of other Council members, you have started out badly. However, the Shofixti Empire duly notes that the research carried out is a very delicate topic for the Ur-Quan race. Rest assured however, that those Shofixti travelling on Yehat ships as representatives of our people will be very interested in asserting that this station poses no danger to the Quadrant.

As the Shofixti Empire does not yet have a Imperial Navy to speak of, the only representatives we send will be those aboard Yehat ships. However, our warriors are well trained in close combat, and should the situation arise they will be more than ready to repel any invasive force. I trust the Ur-Quan ambassador will accept our help. While we may not be in full agremeent, the Empire has every intention of helping those unjustly under attack.

Also, I have been informed that a large unidentified fleet is moving through our part of the Quadrant, possibly towards the Pkunk worlds. Does any ambassador here have any further information on this?

Well bloat my belly... When we did some long-range scans, we saw that the ships were.... you're not going to believe it... TRANSFORMERS! We also calculated that theyre be moving fastly towards sol, or any system *behind* it.. Also, when we approached the Transformers, we scanned zero lifeforms, so maybe MMRNMHRM are aboard that ship! Where did they come from???? Can any other ambassador explain these events?

<When Yeep-Eep is talking, the door suddenly opens and the Vux new admiral ORZ arrives>
Greetings, all other species. I was late, because our escort fleet was attacked by some unidentified alien race.

My name is ORZ, and I'd like to say that my name has nothing to do with the Orz species, who attack us VUX always when we ask them about Androsynth.

I heard what Yeep-Eep said, and a few earth hours ago, we received an Hyperwave broadcast from one of our scout patrols. They said that they saw Mother Ark, fully repaired, building Mmrnhmrns. Then we lost contact with our patrol.

<ORZ sees the androsynth> What! It cant be! I thought you were killed by the Orz! Please tell your story, Androsynths!
Oh no! Its one of those ultra-gross humans again!

The Shofixti Empire recognizes the presence of the VUX Ambassador.

While we have no reason to doubt either the newly arrived VUX or our close allies the Yehat, we feel that something is very suspicious here. Perhaps the Chmmr ambassador would care to shed some light on the situation?

*Four Mmrnmhrm enter the room.* We are the Mmrnmhrm Mark 2. We are here to accomplish what the origional Mmrnmhrm failed to. First, what has happened to the origonal Mmrnmhrm? Secondly, why is there a Ur-Quan at this council? And third, what is this "Axiom" we heard about from the Mael-Num?

<A human male and female enter, following the Mmrnmhrm mark IIs>
Male: "We apologize for our delay.  With the recent destruction of the slave shield around Earth, and our attempts to return our world to the thriving society that it once was has left us in a small state of dissarray.  The Syreen are under similar duress, and fear they may not be able to attend.  Until they do arrive, they have granted us the power to speak on their behaf."
<They quickly take a seat at the table>
Female: "Captain Zelnick wishes to apologize for not being here.  He has been detained at other, equally important matters.  Since our arrival, we have quickly read the logs of events that have transpired here thusfar, and will gladly grant our own insights into matters."  <Addressing the Mmrnmhrm IIs>  "The Chmmr would be best to grant you the full extent of their purpose, but we have brought with us copies of the logs maintained by Precursor vessel piloted by Captain Zelnick, which includes, among other things, a recounting of the conversations he had with the Mmrnmhrm/Chenjesu prior to and following their hybridization into the Chmmr."
Male: <Re-addressing the rest of the council> While we have read the transcripts of the meeting, that which weighs heaviest upon my mind is that of the mobile Orz fleet.  Most specifically I am concerned with their motives.  I, personally, was assigned to the starbase during the conflict between the Kzer-za and the Khor-ah, and remember them well when the first of them arrived after Captain Zelnick formed the alliance.  Indeed, I had a chance to speak with some on several occasions, and while I had dificulty understanding their speech at times, they came off as both friendly, and intelligent.  We most certainly do not condone the actions of the Orz, but feel there may be a greater purpose to them than simple feedings."
Female: "Finally, it is with great sadness that I address the Androsynth.  Our mutual histories have been conflicting, but we hope that our mutual futures are ones of harmony: The people of Earth recognize the Androsynthian nation as a wholy seperate species, and not a sub-species of Human."
