Dthunk snarls at the Arilou delegate.
A shot? Let's see your race lose about two-thirds of it's fleet to a genocidal race, then attacked on it's own turf by violent insects, losing two-thirds of what was LEFT anyway!
He nods to the Druuge.
I mean no disrespect to the Druuge when I say they only lost material worth, as I know trade is their buisness and livelihood, but we, the Thraddash...we lost family. Brothers. Fathers. We lost friends. Good allies and comrades that were never meant to be...slaughtered in the fashion that they were. We are a warrior race, we will state and defend that statement until our dyings breaths...but we prefer to die a good death, not in a mass-slaughter and then a surprise attack sent upon us with intent.
He jerks a big thumb at Zelnick, wishing his thumbnail would fly off and stick in his body.
He took what he could from us, and then, after seeing no more use for us, decided to get another race to commit genocide against us! That's TWO cleansing attempts we've survived! This proves our battle-worth, and proves that few, few races can be trusted.
Speaking of battle-worth and trust...
Dthunk nods to the Shofixti delegate.
The Thraddash gladly accept your offer. We will send trading ships, and set up colonies for trading purposes on the nearest planet outside your Sphere of Influence, provided it isn't already claimed and is habitable.
He looks at the Druuge delegate.
We will also do the same for the Crimson Corporation. We hope that both deals are fruitful and long-lasting.
Dthunk's, like all other representatives' collective jaws, drops when the Reunited Ur-Quan enters the room.
What in Battle-Master Fg'harth's name...
I love having clones. I do all the bad stuff and the other me's gets blamed!

The Umgah looks to the Chmmr, only after finding some food and cramming three of five mouths full.
Oh, Umgah thank Chmmr much for offer of assistance, but...Umgah have problems with outside help. Actually, outside help have problems with Umgah. We like pulling pranks on even our own researchers, and fear that, well, other races not react as well as our own. Besides, we about 90% done with the reverse-engineered plague, which we tinker with juuust a bit more, then reintroduce into Utwig populace.
He continues eating.
*crunch* Mmmm! Soft fleshed, with fibrous noodles entwined up the center! Elasticy on bottom, oddly shaped, but tasted good.
The Arilou grins at his friend and sends him a telepathic message. The Umgah looks confused.
What a 'shoe'?

<As the voices clear, the Arilou delegate floats forward, his being radiates some aura of... triumph... he stares at the delegates and the soothing voice once more enters the minds of the assembley, only now, it is soothing no more, but somewhat frantic...>

I have something important to divulge, dearest children.
As of now, the Human race and their solar system, along with the Arilou home planet are not located anymore in your hostile and primitive universe.

We have moved them *aside* to a better, more secure location.
We are sorry for this, but this IS our last resort after the Orz tried to enter this world.

We leave only the Human delegates and Captain, and a few humans visiting on other races' ships as the last remnants of humanity on this universe.

As our ancestor BHS-79 fortold, we would have to make another leap to save ourselves, while leaving the rest of you damaged and hurt.

We were sorry for that *before* and we are yet sorry again.

Fairwell, my dear children.

<And with that the Arilou simply vanishes>
GOD: Look mommy, I made light!

Zelnick blinks at the missing Arilou before speaking.
"ooookkkk, that was weird."  He turns towards his companions.  "Can you figure out what he was talking about?"  Returning his gaze to the Druuge, he continues.  "Apparently your logs and my own differ from the meeting that was had over the Utwig bomb.  As I recal, your ships attacked me.  I defended myself and was unfortunately forced to destroy your ships.  But no matter, when these procedings have concluded, I'll gladly subject myself to a trial, and if it's found that the bomb was rightly yours, I'll gladly recompensate you your loss."  He continues speaking to the fuming Dthunk, quickly attempting to diffuse the situation, now that the Arilou is gone.  "I still can't believe you, though.  Those I spoke with after the battle with the Kohr-Ah spoke of how glorious the battle was, and how pleased they were, and now your snivling about the loss.  If it's the Blue Helix your upset about, then I'm sorry, but it's part of the Utwigs Ultron right now.  You'll have to ask them what you should do.  I think you'd enjoy the conversation.  They can be quite enlightening.  As for your ship here today, I can't excuse that mistake, so it's only fair that you be compensated.  My crew are set to pack as many Tzo crystals as you think you need to replace it when you finally do get a ride home.  In the meantime, can we not discard the general anymosity and focus on the issues at hand?"

<As the Captain stops speaking, the Pkunk delegate approaches him, looking sad>

I am very sorry for all of the trouble we caused you, dear human captain.

We are no longer haunted by that circle paradox... so we can resume our festivities! What a merry day.

Shall we have a party?
Ooh, yes, we should, I can feel that a party would turn out nicely!

But who shall we invite?
We will invite the Humans!
But the humans are not at home!
To where do we have to send the invitation, my dear captain?

We renounce our claim for the old homeworld, the good shofixty can have them.

We also would like to suggest reforming the new alliance of free stars.

wait! I sense that you are offended by our crass material offer.
Yes, I am ashamed. Any war mongering species could offer this... we are Pkunk!...Children of the Stellar Breeze!

Dthunk rolls his eyes at Zelnick.
Of COURSE they're going to tell YOU how great and glorious the fight was! Do you think, two cultues ago, that we wanted to look like we had anything on our minds but war? No! We were Combat Thralls then; to show any other thought would've spelled our doom, or at least, severe punshiment, by the Kzer-Za.
He looks over at the Brown Ur-Quan.
Which brings up the question: Why'd you do it?

"Tell you what, Dthunk.  Permit me to take you back to Thradash space and we can talk about it along the way.  I need to head back that way eventually anyway.  You can tell me about how your last few cultures have faired and what new skills your latest brings, and when we get there, I can offload more Tzo Crystals than you would have been able to carry otherwise.  Consider it, but first I need to handle a few immediate crisises."  Zelnick readdresses the rest of the chamber.  "Friends, first and foremost, the reason I was missing was because I wasn't here.  During a brief, trip, I accidentally stumbled upon a portal near Fomalhaut.  It resembled the portals to Quasi Space, but with an active pull.  I was pulled inside and became stuck.  If not for Tom here I may not have been able to get out.  What I saw like looking through a thin veil into the mouth of Hell.  There were more of those planet sized Orz beings.  Many more, each with controlling more Orz than I could count.  Our translators use the best fit *fingers* when the Orz speak of themselves, but a more acurate best fit would be slave.  I met the Taalo there, so to speak.  They called the giant Orz beings as *uncles* and explained how they move between dimensions, swallowing planets and destroying systems.  They have no means of travel themselves, so they control the Orz," looking straight at the brown Ur-Quan, "they compel the Orz to help subjugate dimensions.  You killed one of these *uncles*.  The others aren't too happy.  More are coming.  I'm going to choose to be more open this time than I was the last time this galaxy was threatened.  Earth is gone, as is the Ariloulaleelay's home world.  The Taalo told me it would happen, and only one from outside this dimension could trace the complex path to find it again.  The Arilou have gone with Earth.  They may even have been responsible for it's disappearance.  That means only the Orz can help my people now.  I implore you all, help me save two species, save yourselves, and save the galaxy once more.  I'm asking that we go to Fomolhaut, enter the portal, and free the Orz from the bonds that hold them."

Far away, (or perhaps not so far, depending upon your definitions of *space* and *time*) in another dimension, the Orz waited.  They were patient, (though only of necessity), very patient, waiting for the walls between dimensions to slip.  Waiting for a chance to spread.  One dimension (and a familiar one to you) in particular interested them.  Not because it was better or worse, (and how do you define that, anyway?) but for a very different reason.  They had been there before...

Zelnick awoke with a start.  This dream had been so real... but it couldn't be.  Slightly troubled, Zelnick prepared himself for the day's council meeting.
Oh God, please don't let me die today... tomorrow would be SO much better...

The entire time. The Ur-quan had only "sat1" there and listened. Now the creature closed his eyes and made a gargling sound. Wich alarmed the other present members. After several minutes he reopened his eyes and looked at each of the representatives. They where all staring at the Ur-quan.

I'm sorry... I haven't eaten in 32 hours...

The Ur-quan kept his eyes open until all the Counsel members where attaining to their own business again. Then he closed them again, trying to hold back the pain.

1An Ur-quan cannot sit, however, it's posture makes us assume that it would rest the body in a similair way to sitting

Fwizzle puts on the Mask of Calm Explanation
We are sorry that our exploration team was late in reporting, concerning the script written on the clone center. It was delayed becuase of a shortage of fuel; we had to send a ship to re-stock it's supply. The words are: "If you should decide to take our earlier offer, the instructions for this facility are programmed into the AI." We assume that the Androsynth left the message, as well as the cloning facility.
