I have been tempted to try a Mycon, but they are probably the hardest race to mimic.

Heh, actually, as long as you write Juffo-Wup, void, spore, and non, you're doing pretty well emulating the Mycon speech  :D  Kinda like Orzese...

My last post was broken into two parts as it was so absurdly long.  The Androsynth seem to be a bit long-winded  :D

Methinks I shall take on the Chmmr. I should've known better than to pick the Spathi first. Too many people ignoring the potential comedic value of "negotiating" with them. *shrugs*

There, done with my first Chmmr post. Hopefully my all-capsing is interpreted as staying in character as opposed to yelling/shouting/what-have-you. It should be a useful distinguishment from the Spathi talking. I should note that when the Chmmr diplomat says "we" it is referring to itself. As far as I understand it a Chmmr is a single body with two consciousnesses speaking with a unified voice. Though this might lead to some schizophrenic possibilities. We'll see what becomes of that.

I assume from your post that you're still going to play the Spathi as well, correct?

That's my intent, yes. The Spathi might have a diminished voice compared to the Chmmr but I imagine they might speak up more if someone takes control of the Blobbies and acts them appropriately.

Remember how the Quannies were divided into the green and black?  That's how the Axiom and Alliance should be -- however, imagine some member races being "brown" Ur-Quan... lending ships to the faction that does the battling as well as participating in the diplomatic aspects.  Such races would be members of both the Axiom and Alliance.  I figure that this would appeal to the Spathi, who'd rather not battle, as well as races such as the Ilwrath, who'd prefer ONLY to battle.

What does such a peaceful sector need a battle fleet for?  Who knows?  But there's obviously races which feel it does.  The Axiom actually proposes to be in charge of advancing the "civilization" of the member species -- focusing on the arts, sciences, and philosophy.  As this shows, there are obviously charges other than just the Military and Political types, and I believe they should be discussed and divided.

This is an OOC post, by the way, meant merely to explain the concept -- even to those damned stubborn Shofixti  :D

Also, excellent job everyone, I'm having a blast (though I probably won't be posting later today and early tomorrow as I'll be out of town).  Keep up the good work!  I'm really interested to see where this Orz thing goes... where are you Azolero?!

I liked the post, Rider.  Also, I know I said "two standard hours" but let's aim for 26.  I figure 6:00 PM CST, 7:00 EST, 5:00 PST tomorrow (11.06.03), so that way we can get a few people on for our "victory (or defeat) celebration"

Well, I may not be on the Intrnet at that time. Could we make it about 8:00 am, instead?

Some people have school, fluffy, and I work nights, so I'm thinking the late afternon is best for everyone.
