The place I lecture at has blocked every site I used to visit. They are using Cobian OrangeBox to filter sites on the network. Star-control.com is also there. OB apparently blocks over 14 million sites. Damn...

I think it's simply an attempt to nmake their emplyees less "detached" from their working enviroment  ;)

Either that, or they are working in close cooperation with the Crimson Corporation.

My guess is that if it has the words "game" or "gaming" in the domain/url, its blocked.  That would be very easy and general thing to do.

Luckily I haven't ran into this problem anywhere I work or on client sites.  I do 90% of my updating to the site now while at work  ::)
