I'm just curious to know if this forum is set up the same as UQM, with the same post limits for changing of titles? I have to admit, I'm very curious to see what follows after hunam... And seeingas UQM now is temporary title free, this is the only title I have left *sniff* or can the limits be changed when the board is set up?

UQM and this board is the same as Yabb :)

YaBB Sr. Poster (over 250 posts):  ?
YaBB God (over 500 posts):  ?

P.S..... once you get over 500 (if that is :) I can give you a special title (anything you want... within reason that is ;) )

"Titles" are one of the fun things of forums...  I have the ability to change your post numbers to anything I want, so don't abuse the system by posting lots of random, useless posts just to bump up your count ;)

No worries, I promise to behave myself, I was just curious... As long as I don't get stuck with a title llike over on the UQM board I'll be satisfied. And now I know, that for any post I do, I'll be just a little bit closer to finding something new out. Or at least to attaining whatever Scott already has.

Oh, incidentally, I noticed that topics here (and memebrs in the memebrlist) seem to be sorted alphabetically and not according to in what order they were answered... Won't that cause problems once to number of topics rises above the number one can see on one page?

Sorry, definitely wasn't directing that at you only.  More of a general thing ;)

Safe One is only for Moderators.

Right now, Scott and Viropher have been trusted folks in the SC community for years... thats how they are moderators so quick.  They are good peeps.

That "alphabetical" thing happened because I 'rebuilt' the forum once because the posting timestamps on the main page were lagged way behind the actual dates.  It'll sort itself out naturally as more posts fill up the forums.

  Actually (I know I'm going to end up regretting this) I SORTA DO want to hear about that.  It was all before my time here at PONAF, and I'm a bit unclear on what it was.  SC-style alien conversations?  People wrote 'em, and submitted 'em?

That's all there was to it - I wrote an article about it for the PNF, which is kept in the Competitions section. You can still download the entries and program.

I tried starting a second competition ages ago, but no-one entered.

How did that go. One guy submitted 'Hello *campers* It is so *squishy* to *smell* you all' and the next went '*campers* are the best' etc.

(except more inventfull... I oughta play some more SC be4 I'll be entering)
