I'm pissed off because I've invested two years of my life into something that ended up failing and now I don't know where to go. I mean literally, I could go anywhere and do anything, and I have no idea what my real and true passions are, other than the fact that I want to do something "creative" and other such approximations. Fuck. I think I'm going to stop visiting this board.

Look at it from the bright side! If you don't man up and do something new and different, you wont just have wasted two years, you'll have wasted your entire life! What's two years compared to that? Up and get5 them tiger, atta boy!

What you need is one of those cool inspirational posters. You know, the ones that have a picture of a dolphin or a hang glider on them that say something like "courage" or "reflectivness" or "financial security". Trust me, staring at those for 4 minutes can make anyone feel better!

How long a sales cycle can "software that downsizes people" have? You sell it, they fire people, done deal. Or do you mean that it's too far between crises to keep you afloat?

Grumble, grumble! My software doesn't downsize people, it helps companies who are ABOUT to fire people to stay afloat and possibly not fire them. An entirely different can of worms. And the direct answer to your question is 12 months and up.

I saw that too, I think that would best describe courage, since that dolphin needs a great deal of it to attempt such a feat.

I'm pissed off that of all goddamned times Ibrahim Skupolli had pick New Years Eve to shoot up a store in Esbo, Finland. And since it seems he was just out to kill his ex-wife, I'm extra pissed off that he had to kill five people all in all before offing himself.

On the other hand, I'm slightly thankful that he seems to be an immigrant form ex-Yugoslavia. The True Finns are still going to take the chance to start a "Foreigners: Why do we need them again?" debate. But if he had been black, or Arabic (especially after the funeral hijack last week) the coming storm would've been much worse.

Well... There are plenty of reasons to be pro immigration or anti.immigration. To make it easy for you I'll give you the main arguments of both sides:

Pro immigration:

It will bring innovation and new ideas. Besides, our workforce is far too old and will be retiring in a few years and we desperately need people to replace them and also to fill the menial jobs that Finns feel are below their dignity and would rather go on social services than take.

Anti immigration:

Darkies, islam, kalevala.
