Congrats on seeing what sounds like a very cool looking meteorite!
Ta, textual description for the YouTube impaired: A giant glowing cabbage dropped out of the sky and spawned the world's fastest sunset.

That does it, this planet's fucked.
Deep child incoming
We'd be fine - the last projected impact point I saw put it in Zimbabwe somewhere on the Zimbabwe Craton.  Even a deep child'd have trouble burrowing through that much hard rock  8).

Actually it mostly likely disintegrated and that's just as well because Bob's pulled another one of his 'let's fuck up the country' stunts; so nobody there's going to be looking for rocks.

My clips arn't in here but there's some good videos other people got, was about a year ago, almost to the day lol.
Heh, yeah, one year and one day.  Portentous?  I think so.

I got to see that clip you posted once and then it went away  :'(.

Ah yes. Zimbabwe. Last I hear it's not exactly a place you'd want to visit.
The Controversial Subject lives on.

Weren't those "cool pieces" glass formed from the high temperature impact of the meteor or would that only happen in the desert where theres plenty of sand?

Probably needs to be a bigger meteor, and the sand would defiantly help.
And that's all I got to say about that.

Please tell me you're not swallowing all that filthy British propaganda. Zimbabwe is paradise on earth and Mugabe's wife is the kind angel that protects it.

Ah, I can see it now. The proud and defiant sand, lending a hand almost against it's will ;) I normally try not to nit-pick misspellings (because I'd mostly be looking at my own posts I guess) but that one just invoked such a powerful image in my mind.
Round and round it goes, where it stops nobody knows

That one tries to spawn a mental image in my brain, too, but I'm rather stuck on the fact that there's not enough room on a grain of sand for facial expressions.

Who says the sand can't form some simbiotic relationship with a group of micro organisms that can position themselves in such a way that the sand almost has an uncomfortable frown on its "face" ;D ? (corny joke/pun of the week)

Now that I can use youtube again, I have to say that is seriously awesome. I'd have been spooked after that.
