Well, since that "new guy" (alias: spambot) never came back, I'll step in and be the "new new guy!"  Hi, everyone!  Nice to discover that this little bastion of SC affection still exists...  ;D

Thanks, guys!  I'm a long-time fan...I think I played the original Star Control around 1990 in my good friend's basement on a Tandy (eek!), but it wasn't until SC2 came out that I became fully converted.  It's wonderful to see all the dedication and love that the game still gets, and that people are doing things with it still.  It deserves it, especially since it's pretty much ruined all other games for me...  ;)

Nuclear: Will be sure to brush up on my crude humor so I can bring it...  :P

Played it on a Tandy? That must have been a lot of fun. Anyway, welcome to the forum, feel free to delve into any and all threads you want to take part in! We got the usual selection of unrelated stuff over in Off Topic, some SC discussion here in general, quite a bit of fan stuff, and of course *Heavy Space* for aspiring writers.
