The posts per day system is kind of strange...Shoulden't it divide your total posts by the days you've actually posted?

Thats what it is...
And that's all I got to say about that.

It's an ill wind that blows noone any good. A big tree attracts the woodsman's axe. Birds of a feather flock together.

Never ever meet my friends.

Probably a good idea. I'm sure they play melee against the AI, too, so it could get messy.

Sadly no, they do not play at all, AI or otherwise.
How is it that I can beat the Sa-Matra with one Fury, but I can't beat a Marauder with an Avatar?

That would require a lot more computation on the part of the forum software.  It would have to go through your entire posting history and note which days you posted on and which ones you didn't.  Many forums (not this one) delete messages which are a certain age, which would make such a system even harder to implement.

I believe the point is to measure your activity, if it didn't measure your inactive days, that would defeat the purpose.

Congratulations young one! I remember when i posted my 100th post, twas bout.....last week?

I couldn't ask for a better example of that quality and quantity aren't the same thing Still, 11 posts per day is better than the 25 a day you had when you started off. It puts you on roughly equal footing with Smoke, who posts nine times a day. In comparison, I thought Alen was quite a motor mouth when he showed up, but he is logged at "merely" 3 posts a day. And that's still double my postcount and god knows how many times Angelfishes 0.04 posts a day.

If you necessarily want to compare numbers, make it more interesting. Multiply your karma with your inverted postcount and multiply with a hundred to see how significant you're contributions are. that'd give Angelfish a rating of 3,85, Alen a rating of 0,92, Smoke a rating of 1,4 and Nuclear a rating of.. uuh -4,73. I'd rank at 0,37 and Eth at 0,36. So clearly me and Eth must step it up to catch up.
Round and round it goes, where it stops nobody knows

That hardly seems fair.  Karma was instituted fairly recently.
