Hmm, that's actually pretty clever! I can totally see them doing that ;D

Yeah. It also puts a funny spin on the Hierarchy, showing that the Ur-Quan are pretty good at this whole fighting thing when they can win anything with these kinds of allies.

Dragon, brains are pink, sort of. That's probably where you're getting your cue, or at least that's where I'm getting mine.
Round and round it goes, where it stops nobody knows

The made-up answer: He's a high-ranking officer, so he wears a fancy uniform.

The real answer: I have no idea.  That's how Jesse drew him.

And now if we could just persuade Eth to release it a little faster...  :)

If only.  ;D
How is it that I can beat the Sa-Matra with one Fury, but I can't beat a Marauder with an Avatar?

The human mind's a funny thing.  Despite the fact that Umgah are described as purple and drawn (in SC1 and 2) as purple when I visuallise them I still see them as pink.  I don't know where I'm getting this cue from but it sounds like I'm not alone.

Aren't they pink in the SC2 comm screen? I recall them being purple only in the pilot pic, but I could have a faulty memory.

They are very definitely pink on the comm screen, I can't remember what the pilot pic looks like.  Never paid much attention to those, always busy trying to kill them.  ;D

Hm.  Putting them next to each other, it does look almost perfect.  Although the idea of them standing and walking still seems odd to me, I don't see why they couldn't.  Problem solved I guess  :)

I stand corrected, Eth, that's as purple as purple gets. So why DOES pink seem like the right color for Umgah?

The background IS pink, and the Umgah is a pinkish purple, so the pink background stays with you I think.  That's why we thought they were pink.  And yes.  Boob-grab.

That's just one of the preview images I whipped up earlier.
