Games of comparable quality to SC2??

Just got around trying these games. Awesome stuff. The Reapers are indeed a spitting image of the Kohr-Ah, except that if possible, even more threatening.

I don't like that bit though.  If a transport who's main capability is cloaking can beat it, a fleet of ships built to annigilate planets certainly could.

That's not true.. when the reaver attacked the citadel there was a big fleet of ships that attacked it. The normandy just gave it the final blow .

I played some shareware game called "Alien battlecraft arena" last year that looked an awful lot like melee. It's basically a multiplayer game though with some customization features.

Glad to see people who enjoyed Captain Blood and LBA ! These two (well, three, counting LBA2) jewels truly compare to SC2 in the quality of the in-game atmosphere, but also in the fact that they are high standard underdogs.

I've had good moments with Nomad (also known as Project Nomad, but not to be mistaken for Project Nomads). The combat system is primitive and a bit boring, but the characters are enjoyable and the subplots seem to be countless. And who am I to resist a multi-genre game set in space...

Also, at that point, most of Sovereign/Nazara's defensive systems were at least temporarily offline due to his Saren/Husk avatar being destroyed.
