Ive unfortunately never seen a game of Cricket

It's a bit like baseball, but better. If you go to see a match, I'd start with a 20-20 match (~3-4 hours), or a one-dayer (one day). A test match (5 days) can be a bit intimidating (i.e. really fucking boring) for the uninitiated.

Some interesting info from Wikipedia:
Cricket was the most popular sport in Canada until the early 20th century, when it was overtaken by ice hockey. In fact, it was so popular that it was declared the national sport by John A. Macdonald, the first Prime Minister of Canada. Today, cricket is a popular minority sport in Canada, although it is growing. Cricket is the fastest growing sport in Canada, and there are well over 40,000 cricketers in the country. While Canada is not sanctioned to play Test matches, the team does take part in One Day International (ODI) matches.

Good to know im going to have to look harder lol.

5 days?  How do you play a game for 5 days?
How is it that I can beat the Sa-Matra with one Fury, but I can't beat a Marauder with an Avatar?

I'm not familiar with cricket, but I assume if it's anything like tennis, a match is composed of multiple games.

Hm.  That'd make sense I guess.

I still can't understand why people enjoy watching sports.  What's the point of watching other people have fun?  Just go do it yourself.

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out. When both sides have been in and out including the not-outs, that's the end of the game.

And when they were up they were up, and when they were down they were down, and when they were only halfway up they were neither up nor down.

Wow, if that's a short explanation of the game, I think I'll go learn Brockian Ultra-Cricket instead. It seems simpler. ;)

It's a quantum thing.
