Arilou explore
« on: June 07, 2003, 09:55:14 am »
Psychic Link to Falayalaralfali: Hello my brethren... I- Nalayaralay that is- was scouting the region and chasing after *Nnngn* when i stumbled on an inhabitted planet. It seems to have sentient life, but they are very primitive. We abord the Ecstatic Fabric-Tearer are waiting for your command on what actions to take with these people. Shall we intervene? They seem healthy.

Psychic link to Falayalaralfali: It is I, Nalayaralay and I will report that the system is called Sol, and the planet is that of Earth. The Earthlings are similar to our own in appearance, except for their akward colored skin and their stringy hair fibers. Nothing else to report, waiting for your command!

Captains log: Ahh, a glorious day it has been. We have landed on a small island on the third rock. The Earthlings have changed greatly since we first got here. These island inhabitors call themselves the Irish, and their land is very green.

They did not know of our existance, except for the time where our absent-minded Rafala'Aliway stepped into their path. They tried to poke him with a long brown pole, and at the time they used those same poles to hunt. Now they are using more technological approaches to obtain food.

Anyway, there was Di-Hydrogen Oxide in the air today, and the light refracted in such a way by these droplets that a brilliant variety of color shone out from the atmosphere. Even we were intrigued by this phenomenon and we gathered at the end. A group of Earthlings found us there and called us lepur-kons or something of the sort. Those silly Earthlings.

I will keep a log of their development, and I will explore more of the third rock than just the Irish Island.

Note to self- Great variety of life on this planet, but none are sentient except the Earthlings and the *mice* as we called them. The humans seem unaware of their sentience.

Note to self-*Nnngn* are not present on Earth!

Captains log: We have looked at the mice more closely, and also dolphins. We have concluded that if dolphins had thumbs, and if they were terrestrial organisms, they would surpass the Earthlings race in a matter of a couple thousand years!

The mice however, we have given up hope upon. They aren't willing to put the effort in to become a more advanced species, so I can only conclude that they will devolve from sentience. That is their foolish mistake. We have made contact with the mice via telepathy, yet they do not wish any assistance and wish to stay how they are now. The mice cannot speak, yet the Earthlings can.

We have not interfered with the Earthlings however. We will let time tell what to do. We are leaving Earth from the time being, we grow weary. Please send another Arilou'laleelay to Earth to moniter Earthling Actions. Forget about the mice. We are going back to the easy places.

Psychic Link to Falayalaralfali: This is Louifoui, commander of the second expedition to the planet Earth. We have arrived at planet and touched down in a desolated area of the smallest continent we could find. We have made contact with the natives, a dark skinned people who seem to be quite peaceful, despite their warlike apperance. From our initial observations it seems that marsupial mammals now dominate the ecology. We attempteded to contact the wales on our approach through the atmosphere, but none of the communications devices we scattered along the bottom of the ocean near the island of the Irish during our last visit have registered any replies. This is most disturbing news, and we shall set out to discover what has happened tomorrow.

As noted during the initial expedition, there's seems to be a complete lack of*Nggn* on Earth, and in the entire star system.

Captains log:  Our initial assumption regarding the dominance of marsupial mammals has been proved incorrect. Apparently, they have only flourished on this one continent. Why this should be, we are not quite sure. Either the previous expedition did not see fit to note this, as their main regard were the search for intelligent species, or some sort of major event has taken place on this continent.

We have further tried to contact the whales, and in particualr the doplhins, but something strange seems to have occurred. They are still intelligent creatures, but it seems that they have devolved from their present level of sentience, and are now at the same level as a Arilou child! We are not sure why this has happened, but clearly some sort of major event has taken place while we were absent.

While the devolvement of the whales is an intriguing fact, it is still not vital to this mission. Now that we have collected the background facts, we will commence a deeper study of the earthlings themselves.
