How exactly does this forum work, anyway? Gamespy has paid employees that occasionally peak over here? That doesn't seem quite right.

How so? Chuck stopped by one time, he's the one that helped me get access to the site when chad was gone and bring it back from the depths of 404 nothingness.

Well okay. It seems like you guys would be too busy to do this as part of the job. I seem to remember a Master of Magic page hosted on Gamespy that went kaput a long time ago.

The advantage of the Gamespy server is that they're not charging Chad anything.  All he has to do is keep paying for the star-control.com domain name.

As far as activity goes, didn't Lukipela do some kind of comparison, and the two forums were about equal, posting-wise?

I don't think that would be very representable as the visitor count for both PNF and UQM tends to flux quite a bit from period to period.

I don't really see UQM as a competitor anyhow. They've got the big fancy Star Control source port, and we've got the old fanbase... kind of...

Personally I've always felt the 2 to be filling each others blanks... if that makes sense to anyone else :)

Yes. UQMF and SCDB make a game of Russian Roulette 100% fatal. [/misquote]

Cool!
I'm watching you. I always do. I know your every step. Awake or asleep. I look into your dreams. I see all your emotions, your love, your sorrow, everything around you. I feel your pain and endure it. I can cast the magic of the worlds and destroy everything you see.
This is a burden, and a gift.

Sedodes didn't solve the jaychant problem, where did you get that idea from? I see you're quick to shift the credit on to him even after he insulted you over and over.
I don't agree with how it happened, but sorry, that much is pretty obvious. As for being insulted over and over, I wasn't really insulted. Hey you wanna try?
How do I respond to this without degrading anyone? Oh, I know. A lack of activity isn't interesting.
Speak for yourself, I love tranquility.

Makes sense to me.

EDIT
Wait, I've thought of something which might make Shiver have a go at me (it's very silly especially since I'll be gone for a few days), but I can't resist :D
Wait, what? Oh, there's a permaban mentioned in that moderator thread now. That's news to me.
GOTCHA!
(Shiver knows what I mean)

Sure, I'll start right now by saying
