So I'm going on vacation. I've one week of work left, and then we're heading off on an adventure. Were are we going? Well, we'll be driving around Scandinavia for 10 to 14 days, spending most of it in Norway. Have a look at our route map:

We'll be in Norway for four days, and one day at most other places. Or at least that's the plan, we've decided to not set it in stone. If something catches our fancy, we can stay an extra day.
Now in order to traverse approximately 3000 km, we'll need a trusty steed indeed. After considering our options, and weighing fuel efficiency versus comfortability, we've opted
1 for the following beauty (It's the four door version in the back, ours isn't red though).
1And when I say opted I mean that's the in-laws car that we borrowed while they are on vacation.
So after a long day of driving (longest day trip is ten hour) we'll need to really relax and stretch our legs out, won't we? Indeed, which is why we've gotten this beauty (Female not included apparently).

It's big enough to be comfortable in, and very water proof. Once we've put it up, it'll be time to prepare some delicious food on this:

And maybe a dash of this

And you know what the best part of this is going to be? Almost two weeks without computers, television, or anything similar. We'll read, spend time together and enjoy the sights. In Sweden, Kiruna apparently has guided tours through one of the largest mines in Scandinavia. In Norway Narvik and Tromsö are both really beautiful scenic places. It'll be good to relax, and wind down. After this I've two more weeks of work, and then two more weeks of vacation. But we'll spend those with family and friends instead of cruising the world.
