The Undiscovered War
« on: June 05, 2003, 03:19:21 am »
Altough most of the starfaring races never travelled beyond the borders of Hyperspace, 4 races lived in the systems far beyond the Aquilae systems. Altough not properly named their stay was one in conflict. The 4 races waged war on eachother in a 2 vs 2 war. On one side there are the Ninotickauns and Joeytickauns. On the other the agressive Mirceans and cowardly Ruboans, who aided the Mirceans only in resources and ships, afraid to become the target of an assault from the Ninotickauns and Joeytickauns.

Because the 4 races where very aware of the fact that there where other races in the universe besides them, they placed beacons on planets that surrounded the area where they fought. The beacons sent out a strong signal (not strong enough to pass Zeta Aquilae though) wich clearly stated the range of the sphere of influence, or War zone as the Ninotickauns called it. Because of this strong signal, no censor or Hyperwave broadcast ever penetrated the 'wall' that the beacons created.

To mark their alliances clearly, the Ninotickauns and Joeytickauns called themselves the "Bright Alliance" and the Mirceans and Ruboans went by the name of "The rectifyers" According to the Mirceans, every other species that looked like the Ninotickauns where evil.

The Ninotickauns and Joeytickauns found their origin in a small planet called Earth. Where a few who believed that the Earth was round, tried to leave the gravitational pull of the planet. Anyway to make a long (and boring) story short, they left earth and settled on a "drifter" planet (a planet that floats through space at incredible speeds) and ended up in the area where they fought with The rectifyers.

Captain ASB-623 of the starship Zerxyz awakened to the glorious, familiar sight of a pervasive black speckled with countless pinholes of light.  He had made it.  After battling the Orz for eleven years in their own hellish dimension the Androsynth perfected their interdimensional portal technologyand could finally free themselves.

ASB-623 scanned the surrounding space for the rest of the squadron that had attempted the jump.  Only two others of the twelve ships were found, and the closest was over twenty parsecs away -- what's worse, it appeared to be under attack!  ASB-623 sent a hail to his comrade as he jumped the Zerxyz into blazed for to assist...

ASB-623:  Captain AFK-247 of the starship L'llynth, are you okay?

AFK-247:  CAPT... ASB-62... WE ARE BE... ATTACK...!  THEY CA... EVERYWHERE!  TOO MA... SHIPS!  DON'T ANS... HAILS!

Then silence.  Captain ASB-623 thought for a moment:  Orz?  He quickly scanned again.  No, the attacking ships were not of Orzeze configuration.  They were totally alien. He tried scanning further this time, but found the scans blocked by some type of barrier.  He would have to investigate later, however, as he was closing fast on his comrade's position.

ASB-623 was just in time to see the L'llynth go into blazer form and fly past, causing the six alien ships to turn towards the Zerxyz with weapon batteries open.  ASB-623 launched his ship into full thrust, heading towards the core of the squadron.  The ship shuddered as shot after shot from the hostiles tore away at the hull, and his crew bravely giving their lives in this most valliant effort.

Finally, at the center of the group, ASB-623 activated the dimensional portal again.  Space and time were ripped apart as all seven of the ships tumbled into the Orz's dimension.  When they arrived only one ship was still near enough to the Zerxyz to be a threat, and he took care of that in short order with a salvo of acid bubbles.  He scanned about for the other five alien ships.  An Orz Nemesis was closing on two of them, while the other three were moving intoward each other from a massive distance.

ASB-623 checked his coordinates.  They were the exact same as when he'd left this place.  He set a course for the nearest Androsynth base for repairs and supplies, when suddenly he was sent a hail from the base itself!

"This is Admiral HAL-2001 of the Starbase Frontier.  Do NOT engage ANY Orz ships!  Sensors indicate multiple dimensional portals being opened and a massive migration to standard space by the Orz.  They have broken off attacks on all our vessels and starbases.  Let's not antagonize them."

Captain ASB-623 sent a hail back to Starbase Frontier:

"Admiral HAL-2001, I think I may know what's going on.  The Orz may have a new *dance* partner.  I'll explain more when I arrive."

And with that Captain ASB-623 relaxed for the first time in over a decade.  It looked like smooth sailing to Starbase Frontier, and hope for the Androsynth people.

Jon Logan, Captain of the Scoutship "The fly" was patrolling along the borders of the Hyperwave shielding. After successfully shaking a few pesky Mircean Assaulters, he decided to leave them to the upcoming Starcruisers, that where on their way from The Paleisan systems. In the mean time, he figured, he could make them aware of anything that *might* happen at the edge of the warzone.

"A beer, a babe, and alot of free time!" He said to himself. "That's what I need right now." Captain Logan checked the deep-space radar, and then his frontview. "A few Mircean scouts" he said to himself, then all of the sudden,  2 ships apeared out of nowhere, with a bright flash of green light. Apparently also noticed by the nearby scout squandron of Mirceans, wich turned and began attacking the newcomers. Logan's mind raced "Who are they? How did they get here? Why do they look like humans, and if they don't, why are those Mirceans attacking them?" As 1 ship exploded, the other ship collapsed and assumed the form of a purple/red comet. The comet raced by the scouts, who turned trying to follow the speedy little ship.
But failed before it could destroy several of them, a third ship, wich the Captain, and the Mirceans hadn't noticed yet then turned green and disapeared.

At that very moment, only a little bit off that position, a new ship apeared. It looked blue-ish, with a gun turret on top. It halted in front of the surviving Mirceans, and apeared to Hail them. "Quick" Logan ordered his Luitenant, "I want to know exactly where they are talking about. See if you can lock the Hyperwave spy on them!" The Luitenant saluted, and ran off to alert the Technicians. Very shortly after that 2 comm screens popped up from the floor. One displaying a Mircean commander, the other showing a fish-like creature. "What the..." Logan started, then the fishcreature spoke. "If you don't want to be *campers* then we will have to *dance* with you!" The Mircean commander, visibly irritated, answered "What the HELL, are you talking about, dancing? Androsynth? What are those, and where to they come from?"

Then a bright white flash, and the  front of the remaining scouts went up in flames. A few blue looking robots emerged from the ship and headed for the other 4. They entered, and a few seconds later the ships detonated in a rain of debris and crewmember parts.
Logan looked and saw that there where 4 other ships, wich where behind the Mircean scouts where he didn't see them before.

The blue ships seemed distracted by something since they turned to face the location, where the first few ships came from and then disapeared in a green portal looking thing.

Logan was stunned. "I don't know who you are..." he started "but I like you guys already..." Suddenly his ship scanned a fainth sign of life coming from one of the wreckages of the first 3 ships that entered the region. "Survivors?" He tought. "We've got lifesigns" He screamed to the Luitenant in the back "Let's pick 'em up, and bring them home for treatment..... if it's not too late that is."

***JUST OUTSIDE THE SOL SYSTEM***

"Captain Ender, all Orz escort ships are breaking formation and seem to be setting a course for their home system.  We're also picking up numerous time/space disturbances in Orz space."

"Thank you officer Tarik.  Continue to do maximum sensitivity sensor sweeps every two minutes.  Officer Clancey, any replies to any of our hails from ANY Orz ship?"

"No, captain, just that automated message about the *playground* and *dancing* again.  Earth reports the Spathi ambassador has, of course, withdrawn to Spathiwa under the protection of the slave shield.  We are, however, getting a hail from the Arilou.  Shall I bring it up on screen?"

"Yes, officer Clancey."

"Captain Ender, how delightful to see you again."

"Yes, yes, Patooi.  Sorry to sound crass, but we're all a bit concerned over here.  Can you offer any insight?"

"Oh Ender, of course we have insight.  What we can give you is only advice, though.  You should not follow the Orz, but rather, *jump in front*.  They're going to go to an area past the Aquilae systems.  You may also meet some old and new friends, so put your best face forward.  Again, do NOT follow the Orz to get to where they're going, that's how this whole mess got started."

"Well, thank's Patooi.  As always you've managed to answer me and cause more questions than I originally had."

"You're welcome, silly child.  We will be watching over you."

"Officer Clancey, contact Earth and relay the contents of my conversation with Patooi.  Advise them that we will be heading there and they should send backup as soon as possible.  Officer Yang, engines to full, let's get to the bottom of this... where are the Melnorme when you need a little bit of info?..."

And with that the Earthling Cruiser Endeavor IX jumped into hyperspace.

Admiral HAL-2001 sat still in his chair, his mind reeling from the information Captain ASB-623 had given him.  Could it be that the Orz so easily just shifted focus after so long?  For over a decade the Androsynth people had been just barely hanging on against the infinite number of Orz, and this was exactly the break they'd needed.  Fianlly he spoke,  "So was there any sign of Hierarchy or Alliance ships at all, or could it have been a new model of ship from any of the known races?"

"No, HAL-2001, no doubt in my mind.  My ship couldn't get a bearing due to some sort of sensor nulifying field, however based my memory of the quadrant I'd have to say I was beyond the Aquilae systems.  This is most likely a race undiscovered due to that nullification field" replied Captain ASB-623.

"Did you happen to get a look at them, ASB-623?"

"No, AFK-247 sent a broken message saying not to answer or reply to hails from them.  Why I don't know."

"That'll have to remain a mystery for now, we've got bigger fish to fry.  The data gathered from your ship's log shows some interesting things.  I see you realized that the dimensional rending device has the side effect of scattering whatever goes through, and I commend your use of it to disperse the enemy fleet.  What I find interesting is that when you returned you came back to the exact place you left from.  That could be of quite a strategic value."

"HAL-2001, I'd like to go back."

"ASB-623, I realize we're friends and all, but are you insane?  You've got the only working dimensional render, the Orz are going to be EVERYWHERE over there, and on top of that we've got our new friends to deal with.  You're in line to get a nice cushy Vice Admiral position."

"HAL-2001, those other captains are our FRIENDS.  They went through training with us and put their lives on the line with me to test this damnable device.  I can't just leave them over there!  They relied on me, and I'm going to get them all back.  Would you do any different?"

"I suppose I wouldn't.  High Command will never clear it, though.  Even I have to answer to people, ASB-623, so I'm afraid my hands are tied."

"Have you talked to High Command, yet?  Do they know?"

"They know what happened, but I haven't talked to them yet.  Last I heard they're massing a fleet, and they're going to tear down the Zerxyz for the dimensional render.  Of course, this is just the rumor.  They don't tell me anything until they have to."

"But you KNOW that won't work.  The fleet will be scattered.  They didn't tell you anything, so just claim ignorance.  One way or another I'm leaving, so you're either going to throw me in the brig and get embarassed when I escape or you'll get another medal when I come back with a dozen captains after you sent me on a covert operation."

Admiral HAL-2001 walked over to the window and stared into the murky green depths of this strange dimension.  "I don't need another medal, ASB-623, but I do owe you a favor or two.  Get going now before I change my mind, I'll temporarilly cut off the base from high command and clear you for launch."

"Thanks, HAL-2001" Captain ASB-623 said as he got up and walked out of the office.  Just as he got to the docking bay he heard the Base Communication Isolation alert go off, and hurriedly launched his ship.  After getting to a safe distance Captain ASB-623 activated the dimensional render.  With a bright flash Captain ASB-623 found himself in standard space, exactly where he'd left from.

Commander Logan walked through the doors of the medical facility and announced his presence. "One moment please" The nurse replied. After a quick check, Logan was led to a room  just below the ground level. 2 Marines where guarding the door. "Sir!" They saluted. Logan nodded and went through the steel door.

"How is the patient?" He looked at the human like creature that was lying on the bed next to him. "He only awoke once this morning" the doctor replied, "He took one look at me and fainted." Logan grinned "I would faint if I woke up next to you." Doctor Slain mumbled something about respect for the elderly but Logan wasn't listening anymore.

"Do you know what it is yet?" He spoke, while looking at the stir eyes of the being that where looking up. "Yes, and no." Slain said. "He/she/it apears human, but further analisys showed that he/she/it is completely sterile, its reproductive system rendered inactive by means of genetic manipulation. Logan frowned "That's odd." "Yes, and as you can see, the creature can sleep with it's eyes open. Although this can also because of the shock from the sudden explosion." Logan turned to the doctor "How do you know it was shocked by a 'sudden' explosion?"  The Doctor took time to clean his glasses "According to your boarding crew, he was sitting on the toilet at the time." Logan took a sudden step back. "Yikes!"

Several minutes later, a beep emerged from Logan's underbelly. "Darn! I have to go Doc, let me know if something important happens." The commander hopped up and walked with long and fast steps to the door, opened it and ran upstairs. As he reached the surface a small flying craft landed on the parking lot in front of the hospital. Logan pushed through the door and walked up to the craft. "Thank goodness you're here so fast Logan." Logan stepped in the craft and it took off. "We've got some of those new ships in our space!" Logan looked at the woman next to him. "Where?" "About the same spot where the last ones apeared." The woman popped up a small computer and the coordinates, and that section of space was shown in a small display. "Mirceans nearby?" He asked her. "None, at least not so far. There aren't any of those blue ships either." Logan sighed "Those fish creatures have some explaining to do if they ever return here. We could use them as allies though."

The craft left orbit and approached the large fighter ship that was hovering over the planet. It docked with it and Captain Logan and the woman stepped aboard. The woman turned to Logan "I am Seargant Blake." she stuck out her hand in a greet. "Commander Logan" the commander spoke, and walked to the bridge without even looking at her. The woman walked  after the captain "I'm supposed to work with you!" she said loudly enough for him to hear it. "Then get your gear and you can stay in..." He turned to his luitenant "eh, quarters 4 sir!" he stutterd. "Quarters 4. I want you back here in 2 hours, we'll be there then."

"They'd better be friendly" the Captain said to himself. The Fighter shot across space, entering the region where the ships where supposed to be.

Captain Greenish looked out through his main display. The colourfull representation of the front-view displayed the Aquilae system. It wasn't much, but Greenish knew there was another species beyond that. Better yet, there where SEVERAL species there. "Another day, another bargain" he smiled.

The grayish Trader vessel shot past the stars. And after a while the ship stopped just outside the hyperwave border. "Captain, we have come upon somekind of barrier. It's material is... well..." Greenish looked irritated "What?" The luitenant resumed "well, it's made out of Hyperwave transmissions!" Greenish looked at his luitenant "Are you sure?" The nervous little melnorme answered with a tiny voice "yes sir..." Greenish turned to his viewscreen again "Bring it on screen!"

After a little distortion the face of a creature apeared on the Comm screen. It looked human. "Attention unidentified vessel! We are the Ninotickauns. This area is designated Warzone, we suggest you turn around before the Mirceans apear!" The transmission ended. "What do we do captain" the luitenant asked... "We move in! ofcourse. Maybe these Mirceans or Ninotickauns want to trade... and Maybe, just maybe, they have some information on either the precursors, or other interesting species."

As the trader flew through the barrier, they where noticed by the Ninotickaun fighter that was positioned just a few parsecs away.

---------------------------------------------------------------

"Sir! We have an incoming vessel. It's not either of the species that we saw here before." Logan frowned "Just a few years ago this place knew only the 2 alliances, and now it's crawling with unknown species and ships"

The Comm screen popped up, and a orange puddy looking creature with 1 eye spoke in a low formal voice "I am Trademaster Greenish, in command of the Melnorme starship 'inevitably successfull in all circumstances' I bid you a formal welcome captain." Logan replied "Greetings Melnorme! We are the Ninotickauns. We come in peace, but we advise you to leave the warzone, as designated with hyperwave transmissions." The creature seemed to talk to one of his crewmembers and then turned to the captain again "Yes we will. But maybe we can make a trade? We are willing to supply you with fuel, information and technological specifications. In exchange we require interstellar Credits, or information of alien lifeforms, such as yourselves."

Logan thought about this offer for a while and then spoke to the Melnorme captain again "We have scanned your vessel, and we require no technological specifications that you can provide us. As you can probably see, this mere fighter is more advanced then your ship. Our fuel systems require specific chrystals, wich can be found only in this region of space. And we do not require information from the universe outside this one. We already know that the humans, for instance, have developped into starfaring races. And have recently been freed from somekind of shield. This is all we have to know, and more is not important." Logan smiled friendly at the Captain "But we will transfer information about the Mirceans to you. If you find any severe weaknesses, beside extreme Eludric radiation, we would like to know."

Logan turned around and was about to leave the deck as the Melnorme spoke again "We thank you captain. This information is worth 200.000 credits, and perhaps we will meet again if you wish to spend your money."
The comminucation unit shut down, and the Trader vessel turned and left the system.

What nobody knew was that the trader was heading directly for the Human ship that was only 50 parsecs away...

Captain ASB-623 scanned the surrounding space, and  what he saw this time astonished him.  There was the familiar barrier, but activity inside of it had increased tenfold!

Hundreds of Orz Nemesis ships pouring into the region from a dozen or so dimensional portals and massive armadas of alien ships fighting them!  Other alien ships obviously observing these battles from a distance and taking up defensive positions around what seemed to be their home planets -- no doubt wary of their new horribly powerful neighbors.  A Melnorme trader had appeared (to no-one's surprise) and was heading toward an... EARTHLING CRUISER?!  No doubt the Arilou were lurking around, now.

Finally Captain ASB-623 found what he was looking for.  Eleven other Androsynth ships, all closing on his position!  He sent out a hail to all Androsynth Guardians:

It's good to see you all again, seems some of you have had a little bit of trouble.  I'm here to take you all home.  We seem to be missing Captain MARK-2 and his ship, the Xenetrope, though.  When you all get here we need a conference.  Be prepared to come aboard my ship as soon as you reach my location.

Fourty minutes later the Conference Room of the A.N. Zerxyz was filled.  Captain ASB-623 started off by giving his report to everyone else, and eagerly awaited the flood of new information he was about to receive.

Captain ERIK-9 of the A.N. Vynli stood up, "The barrier around this section of space is blocking all hyperwave transmission and scans to the outside, and once on the other side, all transmissions and scans going into it are nulled."

Captain KLL-007 of the A.N. Lectre added "The enclosed area is sphereical in shape, and encloses nearly 100 parsecs of space.  It's amazing that this large nulled area was never explored."

"And what of the factions inside?" asked Captain ASB-623.

Captain AFK-247 of the A.N. L'llynth arose and said, "There are -- or were, originally -- two warring factions.  My ship was attacked by one after I opened up a hailing frequency.  They said something about my ship being a "new model" and ended communications.  I believe they mistook me for whomever they're fighting."

Captain SAM-919 of the A.N. Xynil spoke, "I've seen the other faction.  They seem to be in an entirely defensive stance in this war, and from what I've seen I believe it.  They rescued MARK-2 after his ship, the Xenetrope, was destroyed and I'd fled."

"Okay, now we're getting somewhere" said Captain ASB-623, "anything else?"

Captain DKT-393 stood up, "The aggressive alien ship specifications put them, individually, at a disadvantage to our Guardians.  The problem is that I haven't seen a group of less than three ships, and when I DID fight three we just barely made it out of there.  They have a particle based primary weapon of averare power, range, and refire rate.  Their secondary systems seem to create an intertia dampening effect, removing all movement and momentum from a ship instantaneously.  This isn't a problem in blazer form, but when you're just in free flight, having to re-accelerate is a problem.  Although their ship is rather fast, it has very poor manuverability.  Crew and Battery compliment are unknown.  The best way to fight them I've found is to just hit the blazer and tear them up at close range.

"Thank you, DKT-393.  Any other information?"

DKT-393 continued, "The other faction have ships of average manuverability and speed.  All other information is unknown, but as they're non-aggressive, I'm sure we can find out from them."

Captain ASB-623 thought for a moment, then arose from his seat and stared over the gathering of noble gentlemen he had before him.

"I speak to you all now as a friend, not a captain.  There's a reason I hand-picked each and every one of you to go on this mission and it's because I wanted to be ready for anything when we came back to standard space.  You're the best of the best, your being here in this room attests to that fact.  I trust my lives to each and everyone one of you, as you all do to myself and each other.

We now have two missions before us.  I will be leading all volunteers to retreive captain MARK-2.  This may sound like an easy task given that he's being held by a seemingly sympathetic side, but there's a lot of space to search for his location, and even more enemy ships to watch out for.

Our second mission is equally important.  Captain AFK-247 will be taking the damaged L'llynth equipped with the dimensional render back to the starbase "Frontier".  This means that whomever stays here will be stuck if they fail.  I would like all damaged ships to return for repairs, escorted by two fully functional ships."

There was some deliberation among the captains, and finally they stood in their two respective groups.  Six ships would be heading back, while four others, plus the Zerxyz, would be staying to retreive MARK-2.  As the captains all said their farewells, AFK-247 pulled ASB-623 aside:

"ASB-623, I beg of you, bring back MARK-2... we're..."

"I understand, AFK-247" replied ASB-623, "You have my word he'll be safe."

The ships split into their respective groups, and in a bright flash only a lonely five Guardians were left to fend for themselves and rescue their comrade.  They set a course for the nearest Ninotickaun outpost and jumped into Hyperspace...

Logan's ship popped up between a few asteroids. "Hyperspace jump completed sir!" Logan saluted his luitenant "thank you. Now let's head for our starbase a little while back and..." then a bright red flash and 5 blue ships with red fronts and something that looked like an antenna apeared next to the ship.

"Hmm, looks like we got here right on time" Logan mumbles. He turns on the Comm and the communication screen pops up from the floor. "Attention alien space vessels this is Ninotickaun captain Logan. We mean you no harm! Please respond!"

A human face apeared on the screen. "Greetings captain Logan! We are the Androsynth. we have come for our lost captain. MARK-2!" Logan looks at his board computer. "We have a picture of one of your species that we have recovered. We'll send it right over. But first we want some answers if you don't mind." The Androsynth looked at something Logan couldn't see. Probably another shipmate. "Very well, what do you want to know." Logan pushes the record button and answers "Why do you look so much like humans?" The Androsynth captain takes a deep breath and starts explaining "A long time ago, the Humans where conducting cloning experiments. After some tries, a new species was born from their machines. Us! We had no rights, and where put to work. We had to do the things that humans don't like, or concider dangerous. However we are just about as vulnerable as humans, so naturally some of us died performing those duties. We then rebelled and with the help of a human underground, we where able to warp away from Earth. In the Vulpucalea system we built our homes... and then there are the Orz, but that is a different story."

Logan sits back in his chair. "So we both have our roots with the humans... well that resolves quite a few issues. First, the Mirceans attack all creatures that look like humans. That means us, you and ofcourse the humans themselves. Second, we know why your kind is so much like humans, and why you are sterile. Third, there are a few Mircean Battlevessels on their way to this system, so we'd better scram. Those things can take on 50 of their scouts without getting damaged. For reference, the ships out there are scouts."

The Androsynth captain almost gets a hart-attack! "Scouts?? 50 times as strong?" We'd better scram! Is the facility that holds this Androsynth nearby captain?" Logan looks at his board monitor and confirms that with a nodd "Yeah, it's close enough. Just stay close. We'll send out a group of our battlecruisers to whipe out those battleplatforms of them."

The Fighter turns and with a bright red flare the 6 ships disapear into Hyperspace.

Meggo, a spathi captain of the starship StarFunner, walked into the bridge of his ship, after sleeping 12 hours... He was still a bit drunk, yesterday he held a party because it was his 70th birthday...

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAT??" Meggo shouted..
"WIFFO COME HERE!!!!! DIDNT I TELL YOU TO FIX THE THRUSTERS??" he shouted again...
"Errrr........."Wiffo replied... "Dammit! We're in the middle of nowhere now!!! While we were partying, our ship was flying straight all the time, it couldn't turn because of the broken thrusters! DAMMIT!!!! Scaffo, run a scan, find out where we are... WHAT? THE SCANS ARE BLOCKED?? WIIIFFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! DIDNT I TELL YOU TO FIX THAT SCANNER?" "But...." Wiffo replied.. "NO BUTT! OUR BUTT MISSILE IS BROKEN TOO!!!!! REPAIR IT!!!" Meggo shouted again... "Sorry cap, but...... but.. the holotele(*) was flirting with me, so.... i... forgot it.......... *sigh*". (* Holotele is a modern television, its a holotelevision that walks like other droids (Aibee, Reppodroid). Its main function is to follow its owner and open a holochannel whenever the owner wants it.. Also called *Walkin Vision* by the Orz.) "Well wiffo, repair everything NOW!!!!!!!!"

"Oh god..", Meggo talked to himself, "where ARE we?? Somewhere we can't scan.......... wait a second.. the place where we cant scan looks like.... a giant sphere........... a...... solar slave shield? a shield that protects entire solarsystems??.. or.... is this.. the..... no, can't be.. Zelnick eliminated those Ultimate Evils years ago...".

After several hours of boring hyperspace, the 6 ships drop into Realspace only a few parsecs away from the Starbase "Retribution" Captain Logan hailed the starbase from there. "Attention Retribution! This is Captain Logan, with me are 5 Androsynth's! They are the human-like species that apeared a few days ago. Requesting docking clearance for 6 ships!" A few short beeps confirmed that Logan's message was received. He waited for only a few minutes when a low but friendly voice answered "Logan! You found 'em? Good. Are they friendly? Or did they capture you and your crew?" A laugh sounded from the speakers and logan grinned. "You know I wouldn't let THAT happen... they're friendly enough. Now can I dock?" The voice replied "Affirmative, bays 4-10 are available..." Logan pushed a few buttons on the controle console and closed the conversation with "thanks, I'll be right up!"

The 5 Androsynth ships where guided to the correct docks and the Ninotickaun fighter reclessly bumped into another dock, Nearly busting it. Sergeant blake came stumbling down the stairs. Her face was pale and her hair was completely ruined. "Are we under attack?" She yelped in a high voice. Logan smiled "Nope, we're home!" Blake grabbed a chair to hold on to and tried to get a good foothold. "By the way, you missed an alien encounter! I'll have to report that if it happens again. Logan started laughing and walked towards the exit of the ship.
