Thanks, downloading the DirectX 9c added some changes that did the trick. I had a great time with the game already, though was ripped by the CPU countess times in Honor & Glory 2.
It may be too early to ask this, but any chance on a manual zoom or smaller autozoom mechanism between self and only main target? The large overhead is very difficult to see my ship and enemy fire.

There are different camera modes already built in- just hit the Y button/key and make sure to target a ship (Delete / End keys)
I dont think I have the manual zoom in there anymore but hopefully those are good for now
