Buzzy and ZoiD have been gone so long, I don't even recognize their names.  They may predate me. 

Viropher checked in a few months ago, asked some question and then disappeared. 

Megagun and one of those guys starting with an "A" drop by on occasion.

Eth's right on the head.  Buzzy and ZoiD are MIA for years now (long before the last time you asked) and the rest of them show up about as frequently as you.  Generally just to let people know they're alive or to claim they're back before they promptly disappear again.

Do you have some sort of selective amnesia or something? You were last here just a couple of months back (May IIRC), and those people have been gone for years. Buzzy and ZoiD haven't been here since 2003 AFAIK, and you've been back multiple times since then. They're gone dude.

It appears our numeric friend is stuck in a loop, eternally repeating himself. If you want number-boy, I can just randomly post your question every year or so. The effect will be pretty much the same.

Well, you see I wanted it to be a subtle joke, posting about the people who were gone every year, but unfortunately this board isn't crowded enough to bury my post with 12 months of flames, teenage angst and spam. You know, what forms the mass of most forums. Not only that but you danged people stubbornly refuse to leave and keep the lore alive. This board and the SC2 IRC chat are the last places where I use the 2-23-6 nick, mainly to remember when I played SC2 (How long has it been now since the last time? I think maybe...::gasp::...5 years?) and I'm probably going to retire it. It's been 15 years since SC2 and we haven't seen a good sequel. Should I wait until the year 2012? Will you guys keep the question alive in my absence and include AngryShrew and STAN on the list? STAN's been MIA for 10 years now, so he'll be a really good guy for the Question.
