Valentines day is strange, but it is a very different tradition in Europe as compared to the US (well, except for Britain I think). At least in my part, we celebrate "Friends day" really, whcih has more to do with remembering your friends than with huge heartshaped lollipops... Although the commercial Valentine is on it's way here as well, there's a LOT more of that stuff in the stores nowadays, than just a few years ago...
