Star Conrol type of game I'm making.

I making this game called Rocket Fuel Mayhem.

Basicly it's a mixture of Star Control melee and gravity concept and it's played on ONE screen arenas.

If will feature tournament with some extra modes and lots and lots of options.

The main differentce between RFM and SC is that RFM arenas are mosly on planet surfaces with gravity and teams are made out of one ship though you can in extra modes play with custom made teams.

Game is like 80 % done.  I plan to release it somewhere in the 6th month of this year.

that's cool. Let us know when it's done.

Update: Btw, have you noticed that in your menu it says: powerups: enabeled. wich should be powerups: enabled. These things can really be a pain in the ass if you figure them out AFTER you released the game.

I know, I've been there ;)

btw, is there somekind of Beta version available yet? I'd be happy to do some Beta-testing for you. I've always wanted to say that :) still the offer stands.

To Rider :

As for spelling mistakes...someone already mentioned them an I will fix them and try to avoid future ones. Thing is, english is not my mother language and back home I don't have an access to the internet, meaning, access to the online dictionary.

I don't really brake my head if my games have a spelling mistake here and there. I just can't avoid it.

As for beta version. Well I don't have an beta version ready.

I allways thought beta versions were finished projects, but untested.

So you'll get two alpha version. Compiled. Enjoy.

Right, if this where to see the mainstream, then yes, you'de want to fix the spelling.

But let's face it, that's not going to happen.

At least it looks pretty interesting, best of luck to you!
(Though, if it's not beyond the scope of your present abilities, it would be appreciated if you could add a online multiplayer-mode.)

Tou-foo, that wouldn't be possible (as far as I know) I happen to know that he uses QB45 to build most of his game, and since that is a DOS based program, it doesn't support online possibility's.

Acctually there are libraries, to be more precise set of routines in QB45 which enable online playing. Bunch of things with "SOCK" in their title. And I think they are made compatible with Windows environement. Serious. I just won't add it since I can't test it ( don't have an internet access on my home PC). Shame, I know.
