After using The Ur-Quan Masters Discussion Board and visiting many other discussion boards over the months (non-Star Control related), I realized that the two boards/forums on this site were horribly out-of-date.  Effective immediately, this discussion board replaces the old forum and board.

YaBB is the only discussion board that I have used that actually works the way I want a discussion board to work.  I hope you agree and visit again!

P.S. I'll be in need of Moderators (Safe Ones) shortly...  after posting for awhile, if you would like to be a Moderator, let me know!

Im up for moderating  :) , currently I don;t have much moderating to do on the XR board (though once i get these two trailers for the movie done, I hope that will change) But even so Ive got plenty of free time   :D

I might be up to moderate later, but I'm fairly new here...
I couldn't get the Crazy Weasel pic/animation to work as my side picture.  It would have been a much better Hamster...

Is it because it's an animation as opposed to a straight pic?

Ah, apparently, I can't have spaces in the image names.  I'll go add "_" to all the images with spaces and I imagine that should fix the problem!  Thanks HappyHamster!

Since all you first posters/registers are basically testing this thing for me, if you find ANYTHING that gives you an error like that, PLEASE let me know!  ;D

Wow! Congrats on the new discussion board!  Because of my English I'm not a good contributor, sorry -- where is a spell checker? I want to have it --  but I always enjoy reading the messages related to SC.  Hope many people join this board!

Hi Yukki!

Thats a good question... I don't think there is a spell checker included.  I went searching for an "addon" but couldn't find anything either.  Anyone know more about this than me?

As for not being a good contributor, nonsense!  Your english made sense to me  ;)  Maybe you can contribute in other ways?  You are a superb artist... Is there anyway I can persuade you to make a new title image for this board? 8)

Hrm, looks much better than the old one in my opinion... I do tend to prefer these 'show topics, click to see replies' boards to the old 'topics and replies trail all over the screen' variety :)

***EDIT*** Heh, the board appears to have censored the word 'Damn' in my signature - can that be turned off? :)
