Eternal Doctrine, sequel to Groombridge Log
(This is a copy of the post at the UQM forum.)
Those of you who have read Groombridge Log (novel) know that the story is far from over.
The next book in the series is on the way and the first part is now finished. Here is a link to the PDF:

I liked writing it. I hope you all like reading it.
And let's remember to give a special thanks to oldlaptop for proof-reading it.

Read it pretty much as soon as the post came out; forgot to comment. Regardless, you did a really good job, and the end result is undoubtedly good. Well done; looking forward to the rest of it.

I am almost at the end of the chapter and even if there were some typos I didn't catch anything before this one, as I got too immersed
Awesome read!

You gotta love the typos that have a meaning of their own!

It's great to see this story being still alive - I very much enjoyed reading this, and hope you keep it up until it's finished
It seems to me that your writing has improved since the early days of Groombridge Log. I also like how you've become more independent and original, especially conversation-wise: as I said before, I found it jarring when you just inserted exact dialogues from SC2. Adapting them to mesh with the story and its characters better is a definite improvement.
There's no doubt I'll continue reading this. Looking forward to the next chapter
Oh, and I have to say I love your Alpha Pavonis expedition storyline. Rather atmospheric without being overly dramatic. The planet with its strange lifeforms, the dreadnought's interior with its occupants... while a few more details wouldn't have hurt, I feel it was nevertheless done excellently.
Here's something I found fitting to listen to as I read it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I29bgJLxm8M

This is an obstacle you must overcome alone. I will be cheering for you, though. Let me know what you decide.
