Aslong as you sit below me on the HP bar, you should be all fine :P.

Hyperspace? Nty.
What, do you have some moral objection to Hyperspace?

James! James! Oh my god my best friend on this ship was killed in battle! if only he hadn't been standing right next to that panel when we were hit, the resulting ship damage electrocuted him! Oh god, my best friend in the whole world is dead! Well, time to use his cabin as a poker room!

War is hell sometimes.

Moral? Pft no. Bodily? Yeah probably.

I mean if people report sickness and nausea in the jump to Hyperspace and you're making that jump all the time, not to mention battles and conflict and yada yada..

I'd rather be under the slave shield or just on the Starbase. I'm not ready to fight for my cause on the front lines...!

You'd back out of the adventure of a lifetime because of possible motion sickness? That's an interesting point of view :)

You contradict your original question by this statement - one can not serve his/her race in a state of constant nausea.
To be angry is to punish yourself for the errors of others.

One can still be a hit point though. ;)

War isn't really synonymous with adventure for me.

It is, and you would do well to not get too emotionally attached to your squaddies in a war ;).

In actual war, nobody likes the emotionally distant prick who doesn't get along well with the rest of the squad. That's the guy most likely to get into a friendly fire "accident" at some point.

Those sitting in their cabins mourning about their lost crewmates are the weak ones who get put highest on the HP bar in the next battle. What the alliance needs is soldiers who can act as if nothing happened to fight with prime efficiency.
