Well, it took only a couple of months before this got caught up in legal limbo, and the stories of suits and countersuits overshadowed the announcement completely. We've been discussing that for nearly a year as well, and I'm guessing we will be for several more to come. Maybe once that's wrapped up, we can hopefully get back to talking about this again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Apparently, one part of the legal agreement was that they couldn't talk about it till summer this year so maybe we'll see something in the near future once we enter that time period.

The settlement itself will not be published, but the main points are in that topic.
I know they returned to a TfB project because of the legal issues, and hence wouldn't be able to free themselves for another few years. But the topics they mention contain no time limit.

the only reference to a "quiet period" I found in this article: https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2019/06/ ... and-honey/ , 3rd paragraph from the end, but no specifics are mentioned.

The agreement also includes some stipulation that Ford & Reiche go into a quiet period for a while, which will allow them to focus on Mask Effect their now-untitled UQM sequel and will also allow Origins and its DLC and sequels to have some more spotlight time before Ford & Reiche begin dropping announcements.

They're legally obligated by the settlement to stay quiet about any UQM sequels for 2 years from the settlement date.

So June of 2021.
