No. UQM-HD is getting an update soon.
Biggest thing holding it back is my lack of time.
When all the bugs are squashed..we should have a new release. I'm hoping to get all the stuff done before March.
Hopefully, a windows dev will step up because I hate to be the guy who creates the installer. After that I'll need to re-focus back on Project 6014.

As far as new developments... On our Facebook page you can see we've created new ships database pics:

Good ones, though the Kohr-Ah ship in itself looks like something I'd make in Spore's starship constructor. That specific one could maybe use a bit of extra work.

I follow the bug tracker with anxiety and I wish I could help putting them down... Unfortunately that's not a possibility so I can but cheer for you guys... I was hoping finding someone who volunteered making a Windows Installer wasn't an impossible task but I fear poor dczanik didn't get any offer of help yet... :(

Already working on that, but the furthest I can get so far are randomly generated mazes created via printing out unicode-symbols in Java. I wouldn't be of any help whatsoever.

Just want to let everyone know that there could be another sudden boost in this game's popularity - the Yogscast, who have just announced they lost their original save file, which is why they abandoned their original UQM HD series a few years ago, have also announced that they are going to livestream a Let's Play of it soon/this year (announced during this livestream at time 2:08:17 - https://youtu.be/FpGPtOSRJUs?t=2h8m17s)!
