No, you're at CEST. CET = UTC+1; CEST = UTC+2.. (CEST is CET with Daylight Savings Time).
For Europe, there's this handy URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_zones_of_Europe

For timezones that do not specifically have a "Daylight Savings Time" alternative (like CEST is the DST alternative to CET), add 1 to the UTC time offset in case Daylight Savings Time is used..

The most annoying part of all this time zone business, in my opinion, is that some timezones silently apply DST, yet some others (like CET) have an alternate timezone that is switched to when DST is turned on.

GMT (currently GMT+1 for daylight savings).

All those american abbreviations confuse me as well.

And this confuses me even more.

I didn't even know we do this. That's just stupid. So I'm supposed to say CEST all summer? Ces't la vie I suppose...

I can deal with time zones myself, but I simply cannot abide Daylight Savings Time. Especially when you consider the only real reason its there is for farmers and other people who need all the daylight they can get. If they're so stuck on this, why don't they just plan their schedules for the seasons, instead of making the whole world (or the parts that inconsistently apply it) suffer for it? Would make things so much simpler.

This coming from someone who has no need for an extra few million photons assaulting his eyes.

Around here DST gives us one more light hour in the morning for about three weeks. Pretty worthless.
