True. But the Palestinian territories really shouldn't be that size, either.

We will have to see if our government will let it slide...
Curiously, the dutch media still seems under the impression that the cease fire did hold...? Wtf is going on?

Our dudes decided to let it slide, so it is quiet for now.

There were several bombings hours into the ceasefire.
There were two air-sirens on the next morning, but one was said to be false alarm and the other was said to "not reach Israel territory", which is a total bull... But for a god cause, I guess...

Way too convenient. The Iron dome system has over 87% accuracy, it does not trigger alarm unless the projectile is about to fall inside habitation areas. The missiles are ballistic, once detected, their landing spot is fairly easy to calculate. Intercepting is more difficult, though, but still this system is very good at it fortunately. I am glad our government chose to let the cease-fire be, they needed to say *something* about the missiles, I just wish it was the truth.

So because a machine sounded an alarm (which may have well been a test alarm) the cease fire was violated?
I wonder what's next, people claiming that hezbollah is planning a nuclear strike because the local birds looked scared ;).

You got it wrong. The cease fire was kept DESPITE the alarm, which could not have been test alarm - tests are announced and there REALLY no need for one, there have been more than enough true alarms... It is hard to explain really, for someone who didn't need to dash for shelter every half an hour or so...

To be entirely fair, it might well be some smaller group (PIJ say) - Hamas is probably having trouble getting all of its own members to go along with the ceasefire, let alone the other even nuttier groups.
