Re: SC2's Greatest Mysteries (spoilers)

Sorry to change the subject from the Orz a little, but I was just playing earlier and had a thought about what we were talking about earlier in this thread... It was pretty stupid of the Kzer-Za to agree to the whole Doctrinal Conflict thing, because no matter who wins, the Kohr-Ah win. My understan...

Re: SCII Voice Acting

If this is what you want then you might actually LIKE the original! Click if you dare: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJMVQ1eLDOE [/spoiler] Haha, funnily enough, I do kinda prefer it; at least it's easier to laugh at. :P But I can definitely see why it's unpopular; aside from the fact that the voi...

Re: SCII Voice Acting

...Commander Hayes has the weakest delivery. ...which is unfortunate, considering he's the guy you talk to most in the game. :| For me, the Chmrr retains the gentle and calm nature of the Chenjesu. In a strict sense, I don't expect them to be commanding or authoritative...Mechanical in the style of...

Re: SCII Voice Acting

I grew up with the version without the voices and I strongly tend to prefer that one. Admittedly, I don't have much experience playing with the voices turned on, but if the above clip of the Utwig is any indication of what it's like, then I'm not missing much. I mean... he's speaking so matter-of-fa...

Re: SC2's Greatest Mysteries (spoilers)

I know, eh? If you really want to mess with your perspective, imagine that it's like a dog, pressing its front paws against the screen. (With those lower two globes being the paws)

Re: Minimum Number of Races

Well, hypothetically, if you wait until the Kohr-ah begin their death march in 2159, you don't have to interact with any of them! :P Grab the Sun Device after the Mycon have been destroyed, then grab the Dnyarri after the Umgah have been destroyed, then grab the Utwig Bomb after the Utwig and Druuge...

Re: No Earth game (SC2 Spoilers)

It gives you a couple more years to go back and get Pkunk ships if you mess up and lose them. Or is it months? If I hadn't read the spoiler files, I wouldn't know what you meant. :P According to what I read, you can get four more Pkunk Fury reinforcements from their homeworld if they're still alive...

Re: No Earth game (SC2 Spoilers)

Yeah, I think it was the Pkunk dying. In previous games, I would always send them back when they started heading over to the Yehat, but this time, there didn't seem to be any point, because no Shofixti resuscitation means no Yehat rebellion, so I can't stop the Pkunk from getting killed. It couldn't...

Re: No Earth game (SC2 Spoilers)

Heehee! I did it! :D The rest of the game was pretty simple: After the really hard part of getting the Syreen ships out of Ur-Quan space, the rest was fairly simple. I faced down the 5 Mycon Podships guarding the Sun Device. (by now, I've taken down quite a few of them with Pkunk Furies, so it wasn'...

Re: No Earth game (SC2 Spoilers)

The game's pretty powerful, isn't it...??? Yeah, but I sold the Shofixti, anyway. In the end, curiosity won out; I was wondering what would happen if I did it and I'm probably never going to play a game where it's so advantageous to do it again. You have to keep track of the planet in your head. If...
