That shouldn't be happening. It's very hard to take out Shofixti with Syreen. Syreen has only 1 more point of top speed, the barest mobility advantage, and they're using a gun that's difficult to hit anything with vs. the tiniest target. A shameful day for the cyborg.

The 2418-B's lightning has variable range which can actually hit Chmmr from beyond its reach. As many as 1 in 30 shots will do so, if memory serves. I've seen it. Origins looks promising for an early beta. Even with the legal drama going, the forum will likely have a lot of Origins discussion sooner or later. I'm keeping my distance for now, but unless Ghosts of the Precursors somehow gets bulldozed in the process, I don't plan on sustaining that.

The first question is more pertinent. The second is only one component of the first. Chasing clean kills does not win PvP matches.

But with the amount of ships SC has, you will always find combinations which are close to unplayable. Adding more ships will just make it all more difficult to balance so that each ship can beat eacch other ship (when respecting the RU or point value of the ships). That's somewhat true for PvP, but...
