Re: First human contact with aliens.
Even funnier would be to reply, "butt-plug," to everything their say. I prefer not to use someone else's shtick That would not have been half as amusing if the folks on the other end had understood, at any point, what he was saying. Say a discussion about Stephen Hawking's take on aliens just yeste...

Re: ASCIIpOrtal
Dwarf Fortress is a roguelike, at least in Adventure Mode, so chances are you have heard of one if not the term. We've mentioned it on this very board, after all, and I think the term roguelike was used around it at some point. 7DRL, however, struck me as obscure too; I'd never heard of the idea. o...

Seriously? Yeah, we're not all programmers. Thanks for clarifying, it sounds interesting. It's just I thought everyone knew what a roguelike was, and by extension what a 7DRL was. I mean roguelikes are... they're everywhere. And they're awesome. I just hope that I've opened your eyes to a whole new...

Those two are pretty impressive, but they don't leave any room for actually playing the game. They're dynamos that can't be stopped. They're forces of nature leaving nothing within their attack radius. I think the more impressive one was featured on bytejacker: http://www.bytejacker.com/blog/the-mos...

Yeeeeeah, I didn't really test that well. Or at all. it worked at one point, but then I put stuff in that kinda broke it. ...

Gotta get on the next version, but for now there's lots there to enjoy. It's self promoting, but hey, everyone seems to like it. I hereby grant you special dispension from whatever rule disallows self-promotion (if we have one and I'm not just making it up) because while I don't understand exactly ...

Re: Someone please explain the Forum Vessel.
If one wanted to make the "post count as more awesome Vindicator" idea a bit more complex, I think it'd be interesting to have your post count be used as RU to spend on modules and fleet compliments. Of course that would complicate it quite a bit, but it would have the added benefit of making not e...
