Re: Project 6014: Update

I'm actually the guy that mixed the sound effects for the Chmmr voice in Garageband, since I know Maloo in real life. In retrospect, it is a bit higher pitched, but then again, there's no real reason why every Chmmr you talk to in P6014 would have the exact same voice as the one you talk to in SCII,...

I'm very glad that the Star Control Franchise is getting some attention, and from people who look like they will do it justice, but I'm not sure I really want a "reboot." We've already got Ur-Quan Masters HD, and I'd rather see a completely new sequel with FF and PR3. I'm not against it by any means...

Re: Hey everyone!

But there's no "Lynch-Nas-Ploh" constellation, and it doesn't sound anything like a real constellation.

Re: Hey everyone!

The original version of the game had some dialogue that was taken out in the UQM version: The pertinent passage goes as follows `... demise, It(!) basks in yellow light within the eight star constellation of Linch-Nas-Ploh.' We have translated `Linch-Nas-Ploh' to mean approximately `the snake-like ...

Re: Hey everyone!

Speaking of the game's accessibility, did anyone here actually manage to complete the game entirely on their own? As I recall, I figured out almost everything by myself, but I could not figure out where ZEX's beast was. After my first failed game, I gave in and looked it up. I still can't figure how...
