Well, Brad Wardell always said to call and talk directly.
This settlement also notes that this was proposed by Brad Wardellquite a while ago, and now that Fred took him up on this offer, the dispute got settled....

Which definitely shows that Fred and Paul did not take the original offer that seriously, and how this led to a escalation. (But seeing how Brad Wardell offered his "help" to the UQM community and how the paper and the explanation differed from each other, I would've been wary of calling someone and talk directly when he's encroaching on my property).

Honestly... hearing how they settled it gave me hope for the future in general. Just think of this... a legal argument settled by people actually taking the time to talk to eachother like human beings? And ending with both parties satisfied and getting what they want? In this day and age? It's a miracle!
