Hmmm... I'd have much rather seen Stardock lose hard.
As if the law would ever dispense any actual justice though! It's just a tool to serve the rich and powerful and keep everyone else down. Corporate biased nonsense that can tie you up for years and then just take everything from you even when you're in the right. Why anyone supports the law is a mystery to me, but I'll chalk it up to fear and ignorance. (And lack of solidarity for that matter.)
Still if F&P are happy with it, more power to them. Seems the path of least resistance to me. But most people just want to live their lives. Most people have no fighting spirit. But even if they do, the law's no help to regular people. And honestly? More proof here. In a just system, you wouldn't have to settle with people who are WRONG! Might sound sour on what might be meant to be some sort of happy announcement, but what's true's true.
Honestly, I think this entire affair's soured me on this entire franchise at this point. Fond memories of the past will remain, but I think I lost all interest in the future. It just got a sour taste to it now, and within those twenty five years, I'd prefer my own theories about SC2's story to what even the original writers could write anyway.
May Stardock go bankrupt and may Wardell end up in the gutter where he belongs. And as for the rest, this franchise's been dead so long, it might as well remain so and belong to the fans now.
