Well, it took only a couple of months before this got caught up in legal limbo, and the stories of suits and countersuits overshadowed the announcement completely. We've been discussing that for nearly a year as well, and I'm guessing we will be for several more to come. Maybe once that's wrapped up, we can hopefully get back to talking about this again.

I feel honoured, and chalk this up as a small, but difficult achievement.

But the exciting stuff is, that THERE WILL BE A CANON SC3!

25 years after SC2 release, we get this announcement.
I am soo..... HYPED.
For the first time for a PC game, since.... since..... the announcement of the UQM project, actually.

Indeed. And likely on more planets than one.
Maybe those are the left-over precursors?
(If the precursors ever were just "one race", and not a group of races forming one mixed civilisation)

First Star Control:Origins, now a true successor to Star Control 2! This is amazing news!

I've been coming to "The pages of now and forever", every now and then, signed petitions, etc. I am so happy this is actually happening!

Ancient information implies population, as there are no immortals in SC2 universe, as far as I can tell. Even the Slylandro and Chenjesu aren't said to be immortal.
